Massachusetts State Police came across a crash at about 3:30 this morning.
It was on Route 24 northbound in Brockton.
The crash site was located north of Route 123, near exit 17.
The left travel lane and middle travel lane were closed down.
Injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
At about 5:20 a.m. today law enforcement officials reported to the scene of a car fire. 
The car fire occurred on Interstate 91 northbound near the Whitney Avenue exit in Holyoke.
The right lane was completely shut down causing extensive traffic backup on the northbound through to the Pike.
At 3:18 a.m. today, Massachusetts State Police reported that an accident occurred between eastbound Route 290 and northbound Route 495. 
In Marlborough, a tractor-trailer rolled over at the steep curve. The accident caused a bottleneck on that interchange.
Massachusetts Department of Transportation and Marlbourgh Fire were on the scene. The trailer was removed by Ricky’s Towing.
No further details have been released as to the driver’s identity or cause of the rollover.
In the early morning hours yesterday, a 2008 BMW was completely totaled in a rollover accident.
It occurred in Cohasset between north Main Street and Cedar, just after midnight.
The driver was a 36-year-old man from Scituate.
He claims that the vehicle malfunctioned.
He suffered injuries and was taken to South Shore Hospital.
In the middle of the night, of the early morning hours today, a man in Worcester was avoiding police and wound up hitting multiple cars and crashing into a building. 
The man, Christopher Mason, is 31-years-old, and sped his vehicle through the streets of Chilmark and Steward and about 2:35 a.m. today. He is a resident of Worcester. He also attempted to flee after hitting the building.
In total, he ran into three vehicles stationed on Chilmark Street, while driving his pick up truck. At least one of the vehicles had an occupant, a 21-year-old female found screaming in her vehicle. She sustained back and neck injuries as a result of the impact. She was taken to a hospital to treat her injuries.
At about mid-morning today, there was a serious crash resulting in severe injuries on the I-93 northbound. The highway in Milton was closed off to traffic. 
Massachusetts State Police were dispatched to the area around 11:30 a.m. Signs of the crash were discovered nearly half a mile before the Granite Avenue exit.
Law enforcement did allow through traffic in the left-hand travel lane, and the rest of the highway was opened up around 12:00 p.m.
State police have not identified the driver of the vehicle(s), nor the extent of the injuries.
In the latter part of Monday, a male riding a motorcycle was hurt in a crash on Route 146 in Sutton. He was from Whitinsville. 
The nearly 30-year-old rider was transported via ambulance to Worcester’s UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus with severe injuries.
The Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction division has begun an inquiry into the accident. The 1991 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was the single vehicle involved. The rider was traveling southbound at nearly 5 p.m. when the crash happened. The scene was being evaluated until about 7:30 p.m.
A New Bedford police officer was struck by a car Monday morning. 
The officer was on foot in a construction area on Church Street when the officer was hit. The accident occurred at about 11 a.m.
The office was injured and treated at the scene. The officer is believed to make a full recovery.
Although, the incident looks to be an accident, the incident is under full investigation.
This morning, in Brockton, an unidentified female was hit by a vehicle.
She was taken to Boston Medical Center by Brockton Fire Department with severe injuries.
The female pedestrian was hit on Gladstone Street. The accident occurred around 11 a.m., no other details have been released by Brockton police.
The injuries were to the lower part of her body.
Springfield police shut down Bradley Road early this morning due to a car accident. The vehicle hit a pole in the middle of the night. The road was closed for hours. 
According to Springfield Police Sgt. Piemonte the collision occurred around 4 a.m.
There were no injuries reported and the driver was the only one on the vehicle. There was extensive damage to the pole, such that an Eversource crew was dispatched to begin repairs.
Bradley Road re-opened around 3 p.m. The Springfield Police Department is still undergoing a review of the accident to determine the cause.
