On June 12, emergency workers responded to the scene of an accident involving a motorcycle. The accident occurred in Chelmsford, near the intersection of Golden Cove Road and Boyd’s Lane.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the area shortly after hearing of the accident around 6 in the evening. According to police, one motorcyclist was hurt when the motorcycle collided with another vehicle. The injured individual was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Initial reports do not verify if the motorcycle or the other vehicle was responsible for the collision. Traffic was redirected with backups due to rush hour. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and the victim’s injuries appear to not be life-threatening.

On June 6, Needham police received information about a car accident that involved a motorcyclist and a vehicle. The accident was reported to police around 5:30 in the evening, and emergency responders were dispatched to the scratch on Great Plain Avenue.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the car was struck by a motorcycle attempting to pass the car on the left. The motorcycle then fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The individual driving the car suffered from injuries, and medical care laws administered at the scene. The incident is under investigation.

A motorcyclist from Barre, Vermont, was killed in the accident that occurred on the ramp from Interstate 93 to Interstate 95. According to police, Arthur J. Healey Jr., 75, was driving his 2017 Harley around 1:00 p.m. when the accident occurred.

The motorcycle left the highway, and the sustained traumatic injuries. It appears that another vehicle was involved, but this accident is still under investigation. Police closed the ramp while the scene was cleared, and the ramp was reported around 2:30 p.m.

Motorcycle Crash in Worcester, One Fatality

On May 29, a 31-year-old motorcyclist died after suffering from injuries in a collision with a car. First responders received information about the crash around 10:30 on Tuesday and responded to the scene at Plantation Street near the I-290 on-ramp.

When police arrived, they found that several motorists had stopped at the scene to try to help the woman. Worcester emergency personnel provided medical care at the scene, and the woman was taken to a local hospital. She was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival there.

Motorcycle Accident in Brockton

On May 24, Brockton Police received a report of an accident involving an SUV and a motorcycle. The incident was reported to police at 9 at night and occurred near Pleasant Street and North Main Street.

Upon arrival, first responders found that the two people on the motorcycle needed to be taken to the hospital for injuries, the extent of which is still being determined. The driver of the small SUV survived the accident and is reported to have suffered only minor injuries. The scene was cleared shortly afterwards and the flow of traffic resumed.

Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Seaport District Crash
Motorcyclists are some of the most vulnerable people on the roads.

A vehicle crashed into a man on a motorcycle. This happened in Boston on May 16, and hate accident sent the motorcyclist to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police are investigating. They say the crash occurred near the Seaport District. The victim was taken to Tufts Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Worcester PD Investigate Dirt Bike Collision
People riding motorcycles can be at risk of being seriously injured in accidents.

Worcester Police Department had their crash reconstruction unit investigating a dirt bike and moving vehicle collision that occurred on Mill Street. It is not clear at this time if anyone was injured in this accident.

While we do not know what caused the accident, motorcyclists can be vulnerable parties on the road. They are not protected in the same way that people in vehicles are. A vehicle can do serious damage to someone on a motorbike. It is essential for drivers to share the road with motorcyclists and look out for them.

State Police reported that a man died after a motorcycle crash on a highway in Boston.

The victim was 49-year-old Jose Lopes of Brockton. He was going northbound when he lost control of his bike and crash on I-93.
