Motorcyclist Died on I-93 in Boston
A man was killed early in the morning on Sunday after a motorcycle crash in Boston. This information comes from the state police.

Authorities say that cops responded to a crash on Interstate 93, south of exit 13, at around 1 in the morning.

When they arrived they found that Jose Lopes, 49 from Brockton, was traveling north when he lost control of the Suzuki GSXR he was driving. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man from West Boylston was injured last evening when the motorcycle he was riding hit a moving vehicle on Grove Street. This happened around 8 in the evening on May 4. This is all that is known about this incident at this time.

Massachusetts police officerA motorcyclist in his 60s suffered severe injuries after colliding with a car on Range Road and was airlifted to Tufts Medical Center in Boston to receive treatment. Semi-conscious when police arrived, the victim complained of back and abdominal pain and a numbness in his legs.

 

The accident occurred around 2:30 pm near 101 Range Road, and the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the injury. The severity of his injuries is unclear at this time.

Hadley motorcycle accidentA Russell man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a Hadley motorcycle accident involving his bike and another vehicle. The accident happened at the intersection of West Street and North Lane after noon.

The 21-year-old motorcycle rider suffered injuries to his left side. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 59-year-old South Hadley woman. She was cited for failure to yield following the crash. She received minor injuries in the accident.

26-year-old Nicholas Lombardi was killed in a motorcycle accident in Quincy Point. Lombardi had been traveling on Quincy Avenue aroun 7:30 pm when he lost control of his vehicle. He collided with another car and was thrown from the vehicle. Lombardi’s motorcycle continued and struck another vehicle down the road.

No other injuries were reported and Lombardi died at the hospital from his injuries. It’s suspected the Lombardi was speeding at the time of the crash.

Murphy’s was traveling westbound on North Road, when it veered off the road running into a pole and trees.

The crash inquiry is underway. There is no further information at this time about whether another vehicle was involved.

A motorcycle and car crashed into each other on April 22 in Hadley, causing serious injuries to the riders on the motorcycle.Hadley Motorcycle Riders Sustain Serious Injuries in Car Accident

The riders were a man and a woman, residents of Ware. They were transported to Springfield’s Baystate Medical Center in an ambulance. They were reported as being in critical condition, yet stable.

The crash involved a sedan and happened at about 4:30 p.m. on South Maple Street around the Mountain Farms Mall and Hampshire Mall. Hadley Police, Hadley Fire Department and Amherst Fire Department were all dispatched to the scene of the accident.
