In the latter part of Monday, a male riding a motorcycle was hurt in a crash on Route 146 in Sutton. He was from Whitinsville. Motorcycle Crash on Route 146 in Sutton Causes Injuries

The nearly 30-year-old rider was transported via ambulance to Worcester’s UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus with severe injuries.

The Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction division has begun an inquiry into the accident. The 1991 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was the single vehicle involved. The rider was traveling southbound at nearly 5 p.m. when the crash happened. The scene was being evaluated until about 7:30 p.m.

In the early afternoon on Saturday, April 14th, an accident was observed on Route 495. It was in Marlborough motorcycle accidentMarlborough. The motorcycle collided with the back of a vehicle just before exit 25. The force of the impact sent the motorcycle into the rear windshield of the vehicle.

On Sunday, April 15th, a motorcyclist on Highland Street slammed into a guardrail. The Manchester accident resulted in the Manchester Motorcycle Fatalityrider’s death at the scene. There is no information on the rider’s identity or details as to what caused the accident.

The incident is being reviewed by the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit and the Metro Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team. Officers are asking for anyone who has leads to contact Officer Augusto at 860-645-5560.

Snowmobiling can be a lot of fun and excitement, but it can also be very dangerous. According to a recent news article from the Union Leader, a New Hampshire man was seriously injured in a snowmobile accident, and is said to be in a life-threatening condition at a local hospital.

Witnesses say the crash occurred early Tuesday morning on a local pond. The 53-year-old victim was a passenger on a snowmobile being operated by someone else around 3 a.m. Driver crashed into a rock, which was partially exposed from icy surface of the pond. The snowmobile flipped over when it hit the rock throwing female operator and victim off the machine. Victim then crashed into more exposed rocks after being thrown from snowmobile. It should be noted neither victim nor driver were wearing a helmet at the time of this serious accident.
