How Back and Neck Injuries Are Caused by Auto Accidents
Car impact collisions tend to cause severe injuries to the neck and back of the driver and passengers. The entire body, while sitting in the car, will violently jerk forward during a car crash. When the vehicle comes to a sudden stop, the body is slammed back into place. This takes a great toll on the back and neck.
The sudden jolt the body experiences in this scenario is known as whiplash which mainly affects the spine. The spine is only responsible for keeping you upright, it has not evolved to sustain impact the force of which a car crash can generate.
These kinds of injuries can really disrupt our daily routines. In the course of your insurance claim or Massachusetts personal injury lawsuit, you may come across discussion of these injuries identified as disc injuries and facet joint injuries.
Sport Injury Lawsuits

When you participate in certain sports or activities that you know have some degree of risk, yet you engage in them anyway, you are said to be taking the “assumption of risk”.
Certain entities and organizations will go even further, to have you sign a waiver understanding this before you can engage in their activity. This means that if you are injured in that activity, they will have a defense which protects them from liability to you.
The Importance of Taking Photos After a Car Accident
Car collisions are sudden. They happen in the middle of a tranquil, uneventful drive. That quick minute can result in minor injuries or tragic fatality.
Once you are safe from the immediate harm of the accident, shock can quickly set in. It can be hard to think or understand the gravity of the situation. These may be some of the most crucial moments in the life of your personal injury lawsuit. This is why it is important to take pictures of the vehicle, the surroundings, the people, even your clothes and skin.
The American Association of Justice reports that insurance companies are very profitable. They are so profitable because they can be incredibly successful in denying accident claims. Your photos will back up your words. Without your photos, it becomes easier for an insurance adjuster to put the culpability of the accident on you, low-balling the cost of the damage, and arguing that your injuries are not that severe.
