Accident on Route 146An accident involving multiple vehicles was reported to Worcester police on Sunday afternoon around 3:00 pm.  The accident report came from the 100 block of Green Street, near the center of the city.  Police responded to the call and arrived on scene shortly after it came in.  Upon arriving, they discovered that all involved remained on scene to discuss the accident with officers.  They also discovered that at least one person had suffered injuries in the crash.  Medical technicians arrived to treat the injured victim.

There is no word at this time regarding the condition of the injuries sustained.  The drivers have not been identified.  Worcester police continue to investigate the accident in an effort to determine the cause of the crash.  Further information was not immediately available.  This case has been assigned number 20180000688811 by the police department.

A crash involving injuries has been reported to police in Burlington, Massachusetts.  The report came in just after 5:30 concerning a multiple vehicle crash with injuries on Route 128 just before Exit 33.  Officers arrived on scene shortly after the collision occurred.

The crash caused traffic delays in the area, although they are only described as minor approaching the accident scene.  The injured did receive treatment on scene but there is no word on their condition at this time.  Police urge motorists to continue using caution on the highways as they make their way into work this morning.  No further details were released.

Salem Car Accident Caused by Falling Debris from TruckPolice in Chatham, Massachusetts on Saturday identified the driver of a pickup truck that was involved in a crash on Main Street.  The driver has been identified as 29 year old Nicholas Nolan of Onset, Massachusetts.

Chatham Police say that Nolan was operating a truck Friday evening on Main Street when he suddenly lost control of his vehicle.  The truck then careened into a brick property marker and later hit a tree before coming to a stop at 1671 Main Street.  Nolan was tended to by rescue workers and was later transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Chatham Fire Department officials.

Nolan sustained serious, but non life-threatening injuries in the collision.  Chatham Police along with Barnstable Police investigated the accident.  Criminal charges are pending against Mr. Nolan but there is no word at this time as to which charges he may face.

Massachusetts personal injury attorney car accidentAn injury accident was on Child Street was reported to Boston Police on Friday.  The accident report came in to police headquarters at around 4:20 pm.  This accident was one out of several that Boston police officers worked on Friday.  In total, Friday was a very busy day for Boston Police as they responded to more than 20 accidents and at least 9 of them involved personal injuries.  On the positive side, none of the accidents in our city are believed to have resulted in life-threatening injuries.

Officer Stphen Crimmins of the BPD responded to the Child Street Crash after receiving the call.  This crash did involve injuries to at least one person.  Officer Crimmins secured the scene and routed traffic around the accident while he spoke with the involved drivers, surveyed the damaged vehicles and completed his written traffic report.  Officer Crimmins, with the assistance of others, was able to clear the accident scene of debris and damaged vehicles.  After the scene was cleared, traffic resumed its normal flow in this area of the city.  No cause of the crash has been released by the Boston Police Department.

I-95 Crash Causes Traffic BackupWorcester Police officers were dispatched to the scene of an injury accident on Thursday evening.  The accident occurred in the 100 block of Eastern Avenue.  At least two vehicles were traveling on Eastern when they collided with one another, resulting in damage to the vehicles as well as injuries.  The injuries required the assistance of medical personnel who arrived on scene shortly after the accident to provide first aid and medical treatment to victims.

Worcester Police have opened an accident file under report number 2018000067486 while this crash investigation remains active.  To date, there is no indication that police will charge either of the parties involved for their role in the accident.  There is no indication on the extent of injuries or whether the injuries are considered serious or life-threatening.  At this time, we do not believe that is the case but will update this story if other information comes to light.

Update: 3 Injured in Boston Furniture Store Car Crash
This is an update on a story we initially reported on yesterday.

Three people had to be rescued from a car early on Sunday morning after they crashed into a Boston furniture store.

This happened at around 2:25 in the morning at 240 Stuart Street in Back Bay.

2 Injured When Car Crashes in Brockton
On May 4, two people were injured when a crash crashed into the woods off of Route 24. This occurred on Friday afternoon.

One person had to be taken to a nearby hospital by a medical helicopter.

Responders were called to the area of Route 24 near Exit 18 at around 3:10 in the afternoon. The crash involved entrapment and the car was in the woods.

State Police Investigate 2017 Crash
Massachusetts State Police have enlisted the help of a former state attorney general to investigate an August car crash that caused fatalities.

The State Police have enlisted Thomas F. Reily to investigate an accident that occurred on August 24, 2017, in Reading.

Lynn DeWolfe was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs and leaving the scene after her car hit a motorcycle on I-95.

Driver Hospital After Crashing Vehicle Into Saugus House
A car in Saugus went airborne and landed in a home located on Walnut Street.

A 40-year-old man from Melrose drove off of a guardrail and went through the air before the car landed inside of a home. This happened on Friday afternoon.

The driver who is said to have suffered from a medical episode was taken out of the vehicle using the Jaws of Life. He was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening.
