Barnstable, MA – Several Injured in Crash on Route 132

Barnstable, MA (July 6, 2018) – Police responded to a crash with injuries in Barnstable, Massachusetts on Thursday evening. A call came in around 10:30 regarding an accident with injuries on Route 132, near Shootflying Hill Road. Multiple vehicles were involved in this crash. Police have not released any cause for the collision nor have they identified the vehicles or drivers that were involved.

Hadley, MA – Driver Hospitalized Following Serious Crash

Hadley, MA (July 5, 2018) – A driver in Hadley, Massachusetts is in the hospital following a serious crash on Thursday afternoon. The crash happened on South Maple Street near Mill Valley Road and Moody Bridge Road just before 5:00 pm. When police arrived on scene, they found a car flipped onto its hood lying in a ditch off the side of the road. The driver was unconscious inside the vehicle. A telephone pole was knocked over and strewn across the roadway.

Medical personnel and police worked to extricate the driver from the vehicle. The driver was rushed to Baystate Medical Center with unknown injuries. The roadway was closed for several hours while policed worked at the accident scene and the telephone pole was repaired. There is no word at this time on why crash occurred.

Worcester, MA – Police Respond to Plantation Street Accident

Worcester, MA (July 5, 2018) – One of many accident calls on Wednesday came in to Worcester police around 2:00 pm. This call came from the 1 block of Plantation Street in reference to a personal injury accident occurring in the area. Although authorities have not released a description of the vehicles involved in the crash, it has been confirmed that at least one person suffered injuries as a result. The condition of the injured person is unknown.

Police conducted an accident investigation but have not released any of their findings as of Thursday morning. This case is filed with the Worcester Police Department under complaint number 2018000073162. No further details are available.

Worcester, MA – Elderly Couple Killed in July 4th Crash

Worcester, MA (July 5, 2018) – An elderly couple from Worcester died in a July 4th crash. The crash happened Wednesday afternoon around 2:45 pm at Berry Road. Officers responding to the scene found the couple, an 87 year old man and an 82 year old woman, trapped inside their vehicle. An ambulance rushed the couple to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported seeing a 2011 Camry traveling on Lynnwood Lane before running through a stop sign and crashing into a boulder, apparently without slowing down. The vehicle was observed to be traveling in the wrong direction on the opposite side of the road just before the crash.

There is no word on what caused the crash to occur. Authorities are still investigating all possibilities and have not ruled out any potential causes at this time. The deceased couple has not been identified.

Worcester, MA- Injury Accident on Harvard Street

Worcester, MA (July 3, 2018) – Police in Worcseter, Massachusetts were busy late Monday night responding to an injury accident in the 1 block of Harvard Street. This accident occurred at 11:00 pm. Police received the call shortly after 11 and went to the scene promptly to investigate.

Unfortunately, upon their arrival, officers discovered injuries caused by the crash. Given this information, a medical unit was also called in to treat the crash victim. Medical treatment was administered on scene but there is no word on what, if any, additional medical treatment was necessary.

All of those involved in this crash remained at the scene to cooperate with the subsequent police investigation. Police are still looking into what caused the crash and have not released further information as of Tuesday morning.

Worcester, MA – Injury Accident in 500 Block of Grafton Street

Worcester, MA (July 3, 2018) – Grafton Street in Worcester was the site of yet another injury accident on Monday afternoon. This time, police were called to the 500 block of Grafton at 3:00 pm in reference to an accident with injuries.

At least one person suffered injuries in this crash. The injured person was treated by medical workers on scene. There is no immediate word on their condition at this time. The injuries sustained are not believed to be life-threatening in nature. Traffic on Grafton was delayed for some time as police investigated the crash.

Officers are working to determine what caused the accident. They are analyzing evidence from the scene, including witness statements and photographs. Peabody, MA – Two Car Crash Causes Injuries

Peadbody, MA (June 30, 2018) – Police in Peadbody, Massachusetts responded to a two vehicle crash in the 600 block of Lowell Street Friday morning. The crash happened just after 10:00 am. Both vehicles suffered heavy property damage in the collision and had to be towed from the accident scene. In addition, two people were hurt in the crash. Both were transported to North Shore Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. It is not known at this time whether the injuries are serious or life-threatening.

Traffic around the area was affected momentarily as police investigated the accident the vehicles involved were towed away. Peabody officers have not released any more details about this crash and it appears as though this is still an ongoing police investigation.

Worcester, MA (June 28, 2018) – Worcester police responded to a multiple vehicle injury accident in the 300 block of Southbridge Street around 8:00 pm Wednesday. Southbridge Street is located just south of the center of town, near Holy Cross College. Officers responded to the scene shortly after the call came in to police headquarters.

Police on scene discovered that one person had been injured in this crash. Other units, including medical personnel, responded to the accident to assist police. Police took statements from those involved in the crash and complete an initial crash report. No one has been charged at this time and it is not clear if charges will be issued. Worcester, MA – Accident Reported on Warner Street

Worcester, MA (June 27, 2018) – Worcester police responded to an early morning accident involving injures on Wednesday. The call was received by police at around 4:00 am in reference to an accident in the 100 block of Warner Avenue located on the southeast side of the city. Police made their way to the scene to investigate. When they got to the crash, they discovered an accident with multiple vehicles and injuries resulting from the crash.

Officers then requested that emergency medical workers come to the scene for medical treatment. At least one person was treated on scene for their injuries. Police closed the affected area while they cleared away debris from the crash and investigated the cause. Chelsea, MA – Two Car Crash with Injuries

Chelsea, MA (June 26, 2018) – A two car crash occurred in Chelsea, Massachusetts on Tuesday morning, leaving at least one of the victims injured. The crash happened just prior to 6:00 am on Revere Beach Parkway, just before Union Street. That is where police report that two vehicles traveling on Route 16 collided with one another. The cause of the collision remains unknown at this time.

Police responded to the scene, which had major traffic delays because of the crash. There, they determined that at least one of the individuals involved in the crash had suffered injuries.
