Hit-and-Run Accident in BostonBoston Police responded to a personal injury accident on Thursday morning.  The accident occurred on Ashton Street at around 8:00 am.  Officer Nadia Scinolfi with the Boston Police Department was dispatched to the scene.  Medical personnel also responded as they received reports of the injuries suffered.

images-2A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries following an accident on Thursday in Chelmsford.  The accident happened around 2:40 pm.  At that time, police were dispatched to Billerica Road and Omni Way. Upon arrival they located a 54 year old man from Lowell suffering from life-threatening injuries.  The man was airlifted to a Boston Hospital with life-threatening injuries.  Further details about his injuries were not available.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and was interviewed by police regarding the accident.  No further information has been provided about the cause of the collision as police continue to investigate.

Pedestrian Accidents

car-300x225A two car crash occurred in Falmouth, Massachusetts on Thursday.  The result left one vehicle sitting on someone’s front lawn.  Authorities say that the crash at Jones Road and Nursery Road Thursday afternoon.  At that time a Jeep and a Mazda were both traveling on the same road when they collided with one another.  The resulting force of the collision caused the Jeep to end up in a nearby yard.

Both drivers sustained injuries in the collision as medical personnel responded to the scene.  Fortunately, the injuries were not severe enough to be considered life-threatening.  The Falmouth Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

images-1A four vehicle crash in Dennis, Massachusetts sent three people to the hospital on Thursday.  The crash happened on Route 6 at approximately 9:35 am.  The Dennis and Harwich Fire Departments responded to the scene of the crash.   The crash involved three passenger vehicles and a UPS delivery truck.  Medical personnel also responded to the crash and transported the three injured patients via ambulance to a nearby hospital.  At this time, authorities report that the injuries sustained in the crash are not life-threatening.

At this time, Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.  There is no word on the cause of the collision or the condition of those injured.

Car Crash in Plymouth Injures 3An early morning crash occurred on I-93 Friday.  Authorities report that the crash took place just prior to 7:00 am.  The crash is in the northbound lanes of the highway, near exit 14 in the HOV lane.   Police and medical personnel both responded to the crash, which has reported injuries.  There is no word on whether the injuries are life-threatening at this time.

The impact of the crash affected travel on the highway.  Both the HOV lane as well as the left travel lane were blocked, causing long delays for other motorists on the roadway.   There is no word at this time on the identity of those involved or the condition of the injured victims.  We will update this story if we learn more.

Pedestrian Accident in Boston
On June 13, the Boston Police Department received a call about a pedestrian accident that occurred on Main Street in Boston. The accident was reported around 8:20 in the morning, and police and other first responders were dispatched and arrived at the scene shortly afterward.

Once arriving at the scene, Officer Charles Kelley and other first responders secured the scene and directed traffic around the area. They discovered that one individual, the pedestrian, had been injured in the accident. EMTs administered emergency medical care to this individual and worked to stabilize them. The extent of their injuries is still under review and has not been released to the public. However, no fatalities were reported.

Within the hour, the scene was cleared. The driver remained on the scene and answered questions about the accident. The crash remains under investigation.

On June 13, the Worcester Police Department received information about a car accident that was reported to have involved two vehicles. The call about the collision was received around 1 in the morning, and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly afterward.

Upon arrival, they found that the accident was serious and that one individual had been severely injured in the crash. This individual was given medical care at the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital to receive further medical attention for their injuries. The area was secured by police while care was given to the victim, and traffic was slowed for a time. The extent of the victim’s injuries is still under review, and no fatalities were reported.
