Fall River Hit and Run Leaves One Dead

Injury Accident on Walk Hill StreetA hit and run Thursday morning in Fall River, Massachusetts left one person dead.  29 year old Christopher Mills on Taunton was driving a motorcycle north on Highland Avenue.  That is when a box truck, driven by 37 year old Ivan Dominguez, attempted to make a turn onto Courtney Street.  Dominguez’s truck collided with the motorcycle, leaving Mills with serious injuries.  He was transported to a hospital and later died.

Dominguez fled the scene of the accident.   Accident reconstruction later showed a 25-30 foot path of skid marks where Mills attempted to stop before contacting the box truck, indicating that the truck made an unsafe turn.  Dominguez was later located by police and arrested at his home, where he has been charged with fatal hit and run.  The accident remains under further investigation.
