Bourne, MA – Tractor Trailer Collides with Car

Bourne, MA (July 13, 2018) – A collision between a tractor trailer and a car in Bourne, Massachusetts on Thursday sent two children to the hospital with injuries. The crash occurred along Route 6 Thursday afternoon, near the Sagamore Bridge. Police have not said how the crash occurred, however, the crash was one of at least three that were reported on Route 6 around the same time. Brewster, MA – Three Vehicle Crash on Route 6 Injures One

Brewster, MA (July 13, 2018) – A three vehicle crash took place in Brewster, Massachusetts on Thursday. The crash occurred along Route 6, just past the exit for Freemans Way. In total, the crash involved three vehicles. Brewster police responded to the crash Thursday afternoon after receiving reports of the accident as well as personal injuries.

Falmouth, MA – Motorcyclist Airlifted After Colliding with Truck

Falmouth, MA (July 13, 2018) – A motorcyclist in Falmouth, Massachusetts had to be airlifted following a crash with a truck on Thursday. Falmouth police responded to a call regarding this accident at 4:06 pm. The collision occurred at 450 Sippiwissett Road, according to Falmouth Police Lieutenant Sean Doyle. The motorcycle, which was driven by a 30 year old man from Bourne, collided with a Toyota Tundra operated by a 66 year old Falmouth man.

The motorcyclist was driven by ambulance to a landing zone where he was then transported to by medical helicopter to a hospital in Boston. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the crash and remains in the hospital on Friday. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening according to police. Falmouth police are still investigating the cause of the crash and have not released any further details at this time.

Plymouth, MA – Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car

Plymouth, MA (July 13, 2018) – A pedestrian in Plymouth, Massachusetts was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Thursday night. The pedestrian, whom police have identified as a 70 year old man, was walking along Water Street late Thursday when the collision occurred. An ambulance, along with police officers, arrived on the scene shortly after the incident. The ambulance transported the man to South Shore Hospital with lower leg injuries that are not life-threatening in nature.

Police are actively investigating the cause of the crash. It appears as though the driver remained on scene and assisted the law enforcement investigation. There is no word on any charges arising from the accident at this and officers have not identified the vehicle or driver that hit the pedestrian.

Lynn, MA – Personal Injury Accident at Broad and Newhall Streets

Lynn, MA (July 13, 2018) – Police in Lynn responded to the intersection of Broad and Newhall Streets in reference to a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday. The initial call requesting officer assistance was received at police headquarters at 11:02 am. The caller referenced a crash with injuries at the location. Lynn, MA- Police Respond to Injury Accident at 300 Broad Street

Lynn, MA (July 13, 2018) – Police in Lynn responded to two injury accidents on Thursday. One crash occurred late Thursday at 624 Chestnut Street. Earlier in the day, officers also responded to an injury crash at 300 Broad Street. The Broad Street accident call was received at 3:48 pm and it is believed that the crash occurred just moments earlier.

Lynn police investigated this accident and documented that at least one person suffered unknown injuries as a result of the crash. EMS personnel assisted the injured victim on scene, along with officers and fire department officials. Brimfield, MA – Driver Airlifted to Hospital After Striking Tree

Brimfield, MA (July 13, 2018) – A driver is in critical condition following an accident in Brimfield on Thursday. Police report that the crash occurred on East Hill Road Thursday afternoon. Officers and rescue workers responded to the accident scene where they discovered a Dodge sports car had traveled off the road slammed into a tree.

Brimfield police and fire along with police and fire officials from nearby Warren all worked at the accident site to free the trapped Dodge driver, who has been identified only as a female. The driver suffered critical, life-threatening injuries. The patient was airlifted to UMass Memorial Hospital. There is no additional word available on her condition at this time.

Worcester, MA – Police Respond to Injury Accident on Millbrook Street

Worcester, MA (July 12, 2018) – Worcester police were called to an injury accident in the 1 block of Millbury Street early Thursday morning. Police received a call around 4;00 am regarding an accident with injuries that had just occurred at this location. In response to the call, Worcester police, fire and ambulance officials were all dispatched to the accident scene. Once there, police blocked off the area while fire and EMS workers aided the injured.

This crash involved multiple vehicles and there were injuries, although the extent of injuries remains unknown at this time. Cambridge, MA – Bicyclist Hurt in Hit and Run Collision
