Bourne, MA (July 13, 2018) – A collision between a tractor trailer and a car in Bourne, Massachusetts on Thursday sent two children to the hospital with injuries.  The crash occurred along Route 6 Thursday afternoon, near the Sagamore Bridge.  Police have not said how the crash occurred, however, the crash was one of at least three that were reported on Route 6 around the same time.  The resulting effects of the crash caused traffic to be snarled on Route 6 for several hours, leaving motorists feeling stranded and frustrated.

Two children were transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation following the collision.  Fortunately, their injuries are not deemed life-threatening.  The tractor-trailer driver was not immediately cited and it is unknown whether police expect to issue any charges at this time.  This accident remains under investigation at the Bourne Police Department.
