Boston, MA – Police Respond to River Street Accident

Boston, MA (July 6, 2018) – Police in Boston responded to a vehicle crash early Thursday morning on River Street. A call came into the Boston Police dispatch line around 4:30 am. The caller requested a police response to the scene for an accident involving injuries. Boston police officer Frank Lee was quickly dispatched to the accident site. Officer Lee arrived on River Street and began his investigation into the accident. He discovered at least one person suffering from injuries on scene. Officer Lee called for EMS to respond as well.

The injured victim was evaluated and treated on site. There is no word on their condition or identity at this time. The Boston police are conducting additional investigation and have not released a cause for the crash.

Wareham, MA – Two Car Crash Causes Injuries on Cranberry Highway

Wareham, MA (July 5, 2018) – Wareham police were busy responding to crashes across the area on Thursday. In total, police responded to four crashes within an hour. One accident occurred in the 3000 block of Cranberry Highway just after 9:30 am. Two vehicles were involved in this crash. One person suffered injuries in the crash and was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

It is not known how the crash occurred, however Wareham police cited one driver with operating a vehicle on a suspended license. Police are still investigating the crash and there is no additional information available at this time.

Worcester, MA – Injuries Reported in Hammond Street Accident

Worcester, MA (July 2, 2018) – Injuries were reported in a Sunday afternoon that occurred on Hammond Street in Worcester. The accident call came in to police around 3:00 pm regarding an accident with injuries in the 1 block of Hammond Street. Police responded to the call and found at least one person suffering from injuries sustained in the collision. Additional units, including medical workers, also responded to the scene. The injured victim was treated for their injuries on scene.

The severity of injuries are unknown at this time but there is no indication that they are life-threatening. Police are still investigating this crash and have not released any additional details.

West Dennis, MA – Two Hurt in Rear-End Collision

West Dennis, MA (July 2, 2018) – Two people were hurt in a rear-end collision in West Dennis, Massachusetts on Monday. The crash happened on Monday morning at Route 28 near Trotting Park Road at 10:40 am. Dennis police responded to the crash scene. Fire and ambulance personnel also responded upon reports of injuries. Two people involved in the crash were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.

Dennis police are still investigating the crash. There is no word on any possible charges at this time. The drivers involved have not been identified.

Interstate 84 – Head-On Collision Causes Serious Injuries

Interstate 84 (July 2, 2018) – A head-on collision between two vehicles left people with serious injuries on Sunday evening. Police say the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway between exits 60 and 61 when two vehicles traveling in the opposite direction collided with one another. When police arrived on scene both cars involved in the crash had caught fire. It is unknown if anyone was inside the vehicles when the fire began.

A helicopter was called to the scene but was later called off. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries. At this time, the extent of the injuries and whether they are considered life-threatening is not known.

Burlington, MA – Three Car Crash with Injuries

Burlington, MA (July 2, 2018) – A three car crash occurred in Burlington, Massachusetts Sunday evening. The crash happened on Route 128 just before Wynn Street and involved three vehicles. Neither the vehicles involved, nor the drivers were immediately identified by police. Officers, along with fire and rescue personnel came to the scene. An EMS was on site treating injured victims. At least one victim was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries sustained in the accident.

Burlington police are still investigating the crash and have not released word on the cause. There is no word on whether anyone will be charged for their role in the accident. Traffic in the area was momentarily slowed while police investigated and cleared the accident. Within an hour, police completed their investigation and the road re-opened for traffic.

Harwich, MA – ATV Rider Suffers Serious Injuries in Crash

Harwich, MA (July 2, 2018) – An off-road weekend adventure turned to tragedy for an ATV rider in Harwich, Massachusetts. Harwich police, fire and rescue officials were called to the scene of an accident at Jay Z Drive around 3:00 pm on Sunday. The call was in reference to an ATV which had flipped over, causing serious injuries to at least one of the occupants.

The Massachusetts Enviornmental Police rushed to the scene shortly after receiving the call. There, they found an ATV occupied by a driver and one passenger. Neither the driver nor passenger were wearing helmets. Police were able to locate a man who was injured in the crash. The man was breathing but unconscious. He was tended to on scene before being transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries to his upper torso. No further word is immediately available on his condition. The other person in the ATV, a female, was not injured. Police have not said what caused the accident to occur.

Worcester, MA – Accident Causing Injury on Millbury Street

Worcester, MA (July 1, 2018) – Worcester police were called to the 1000 block of Millbury Street around 2:00 pm Saturday in reference to a multi vehicle accident with injuries sustained. Officers quickly responded and discovered at least one person was injured by the crash. First aid was given on scene and the injured victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be further evaluated for their injuries. There is no additional word on their condition at this time.

Traffic on Millbury Street experienced delays as a result of the crash. Officers remained on scene for a brief period of time to complete their crash investigation before re-opening the affected travel lanes. Those involved in this crash have not been identified. No citations were immediately issued as a result of the accident. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash as of Saturday evening.

Haverhill, MA – Head-On Collision Injures Two

Haverhill, MA (July 1, 2018) – A head-on collision in Haverhill Massachusetts this weekend resulted in injuries to two people. The crash took place at River Road and View Streets. Haverhill police say that a 62 year old resident of Malden, Massachusetts and a 63 year old resident of Newton, New Hampshire were involved in this crash. Police did not reveal which driver was responsible for causing the crash.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment after the accident. The 62 year old is listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries while the 63 year old sustained only minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation according to Haverhill police captain Steven Doherty. As of Saturday evening, no charges had been filed in connection with the accident.

Westfield, MA – Three Transported Following Double Rollover

Westfield, MA (June 30, 2018) – A serious rollover crash occurred Saturday in Westfield, Massachusetts. A 2o12 Volkswagen was traveling on Cabot Road when it came to a stop sign. A 2004 Toyota was traveling in the opposite direction. The vehicles collided at the intersection and both flipped over. Three ambulances, along with police and fire department workers came to the scene to assist in the cleanup. In total, 3 people including a child were transported to Bay State Medical Center with injuries that, fortunately, are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Volkswagen driver told police that they stopped at the stop sign. However, they have said that the Toyota did not have a stop sign and did have the right of way at the intersection. Police have not officially determined a cause for the crash and are still investigating.
