Car Accident on Route 3 NorthboundPlymouth, MA (July 8, 2018) – A driver in Plymouth, Massachusetts was killed over the weekend when her car slammed into a utility pole.  The woman, who is identified only as a 57 year old Plymouth native, was traveling near State Road when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the pole.   There is no word at this time on the cause of the collision.  EMS and police responded to the scene and the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.

Plymouth police are still investigating this crash.  They have released no additional information regard the collision and have not identified the woman involved.  The woman was alone when the crash occurred and there were no other injuries reported.  Further information will be provided as it becomes available.

images-1-7Wareham, MA (July 5, 2018) – Wareham police were busy responding to crashes across the area on Thursday.  In total, police responded to four crashes within an hour. One accident occurred in the 3000 block of Cranberry Highway just after 9:30 am.  Two vehicles were involved in this crash.  One person suffered injuries in the crash and was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

It is not known how the crash occurred, however Wareham police cited one driver with operating a vehicle on a suspended license.  Police are still investigating the crash and there is no additional information available at this time.

Plymouth House Fire Injures One

On May 29, emergency responders were alerted to a fire that had broken out at a home in Plymouth. Fire crews receive news of the blaze at approximately 6 in the morning, and they arrived on this scene shortly afterwards. The fire occurred at a home on Bourne Road.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the flames had fully engulfed the home. The homeowner was injured in the fire and was transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is still being determined, and they remain in the hospital. This incident is still being investigated.

Active Shooter Training
The criminal actions that cause harm to innocent victims can be hard to understand.

Joint active shooter training was done with Waltham Police Department, Bentley and Brandeis Police Department, Waltham Fire, and Cataldo and E911 Dispatch. This happened on May 15.

This training is important because sadly shooting incidents happen. These incidents can leave incident victims with serious injuries or even cause fatalities. These incidents also put the lives of emergency responders at risk. When victims are injured because of criminal or reckless actions, they can seek to recover their rights. They deserve to receive help.

Police Look for Suspects After 2 People Shot in Chelsea
The criminal, violent actions that people do to each other can be hard to understand.

Two people were shot in Chelsea on Wednesday. This happened on Chestnut Street near Second Street. Both of the male victims were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
