Westfield, MA – Three Transported Following Double Rollover

27826443258_b358ca39e1_b-300x300Westfield, MA (June 30, 2018) – A serious rollover crash occurred Saturday in Westfield, Massachusetts.  A 2o12 Volkswagen was traveling on Cabot Road when it came to a stop sign.  A 2004 Toyota was traveling in the opposite direction.  The vehicles collided at the intersection and both flipped over.  Three ambulances, along with police and fire department workers came to the scene to assist in the cleanup.   In total, 3 people including a child were transported to Bay State Medical Center with injuries that, fortunately, are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Volkswagen driver told police that they stopped at the stop sign.  However, they have said that the Toyota did not have a stop sign and did have the right of way at the intersection.  Police have not officially determined a cause for the crash and are still investigating.
