images-1-6-300x158Boston, MA (July 6, 2018) – Boston police were called out to American Legion Highway on Thursday morning just after midnight in reference to a motor vehicle accident with injuries.  The call was received around 12:30 am.  On duty officers, including officer Joseph Galvin, responded to the crash scene.

Officer Galvin assumed responsibility for the investigation upon his arrival.  He worked quickly to secure the scene and divert any traffic in the area while he investigated the crash.  The affected lane of American Legion Highway was restricted while the crash was cleared away.  At least one person did sustain injuries requiring medical treatment as a result of the crash.  There is no word as of Friday morning concerning the nature of the injuries.  Boston police consider this accident as an active police investigation at this time.  No cause of the crash has been released.

download-6Boston, MA (July 6, 2018) – A hit and run accident featuring injuries was reported to Boston police very early Thursday.  At 12:01 am, police were summoned to 53 Mount Everette Street in reference to a potential hit and run call.  Police responded to the scene.  BPD officer Ryan Egan took over the investigation.   Officer Egan found one vehicle which had clearly been involved in an accident.  He subsequently learned that a second vehicle had just fled the crash scene.

The operator of the first vehicle did suffer injuries of an unknown severity as a result of the crash.  A Boston ambulance was called to the scene to assist with medical treatment.  Police are expected to charge the hit and run driver once they are able to apprehend them.  The crash investigation remains ongoing while police search for a suspect.

download-4-2Boston, MA (July 5, 2018) – A rush hour crash on I-93 left travelers stuck in traffic and injured one person on Thursday morning.  The crash occurred around 9:00 am in the northbound lanes of the highway, near exit 14.  One person was injured as a result of the crash.  Ambulance and fire officials responded to the accident, along with local police.  The extent and severity of injuries is not known at this time.

Heavy traffic delays were reported approaching the accident scene.  Police worked to clear the collision for approximately an hour.  During that time, traffic flow was impeded in the affected lanes.  Eventually, the lanes were re-opened and traffic returned to normal.  No additional information was immediately available.

Elmwood AvenueBoston, MA (June 30, 2018) – Boston police responded to many car accident scenes on Friday.  One of the earliest calls came in to police at 1:42 am regarding a multiple car crash with injuries.  Police believe that the crash occurred at 1:40 am and that they received the call just two minutes later.  Officer Robert Fields was working routine patrol on Friday morning and responded to the crash report.

Officer Fields, along with fire and rescue personnel, discovered that one person was injured in the crash.  Medical treatment was offered and accepted on scene.  The extent of injuries is not currently known.  The accident investigation remains ongoing under Boston police case number 182050622.

Crash on I-93 SouthboundBoston, MA (June 30, 2018) – A crash on Friday morning resulted in injuries to at least one person.  The accident took place mid-morning, around 10:30 am.  Officer Paul Sheehan of the Boston Police Department was the first officer to arrive on scene.  Officer Sheehan was assigned to complete the subsequent crash investigation.

Unfortunately, there are reports that at least one person was injured in this crash although it is not known at this time whether the injuries are serious or life-threatening.  A cause for the crash has not been determined nor have officers determined who may be at fault.  Police will consider a variety of factors when concluding their investigation such as whether one driver was speeding, inattentive, failed to comply with traffic signals or was otherwise negligent in causing the crash.  Depending on the outcome of the investigation and the facts surrounding this crash, the injured victim could have a claim for personal injuries against the other driver.

images-1-9Boston, MA (June 30, 2018) – Boston Police were busy on Friday responding to numerous accident across the city.  In at least two of those accidents, they were faced with a hit and run situation.  In several other accidents, while the drivers remained on scene to speak with, at least one person was injured due to the negligence of another driver.

A multiple vehicle accident with injuries occurred at 1:30 pm Friday on Columbia Road in Boston.  Officer Paulo Pereira of the BPD was on routine patrol when the accident call was received.  Offier Pereira responded to the scene to provide assistance and investigate the crash.   Upon arrival, Officer Pereira located one person suffering from injuries that were sustained in the accident.  The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Officer Pereira conducted a thorough crash investigation.  At this time, however, the cause of the crash on Columbia Road is unknown.  Police have not released the names of the drivers involved.

injury-attorney-300x199Boston, MA (June 30, 2018) – An accident in the 700 block of Walk Hill Street left one person injured on Friday.  Boston police responded to reports of a multiple vehicle accident involving injuries 12:38 pm.   Officer Anthony Alexis of the Boston Police Department was among the first officers to arrive at the scene of this crash.   After surveying the situation involving the injured victim, it was decided that medical treatment was needed at the scene.  Paramedics also responded to the crash and provided medical treatment.  An ambulance then transported the injured victim to a nearby hospital.

At this time, we do not know how the crash occurred.  The Boston police investigation continues and they have not released additional details surrounding the events that led up to the accident.  If we learn any further information we will bring it to you as soon as possible.

download-3-1Boston, MA (June 30, 2018) – An accident in Boston left one person with injuries on Friday.  The accident happened at 6:30 pm on 255 Norwell Street.  Officer Emly English of the Boston Police Department answered the call for assistance and responded to the scene of the crash.  There, she located at least one person suffering from injuries caused by the crash.  There is no word at this time on the sequence of events leading to the accident or the condition of the injured victim.

Officer English secured the scene and diverted traffic flow around the accident while she investigated.  The identity of those involved was not immediately released and it is unknown if charges are expected to be filed at this time.  We hope for the full and quick recovery for anyone injured in this crash on Norwell Street.

Ludlow Pedestrian Accident Injures TeenBoston, MA (June 30, 2018) – A pedestrian in Boston was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Friday.  The pedestrian was struck while walking on Blue Hill Avenue at 8:42 am.  Police on scene report that the pedestrian was injured as a result of the collision but have not confirmed whether the pedestrian suffered any serious or life-threatening injuries.

Unlike other injury accidents that took place in Boston Friday, the vehicle driver remained on scene and cooperated with the police investigation into the crash.   It is not known whether the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or other marked area when the crash occurred or whether the vehicle driver will face charges for causing the accident.  Police are continuing to investigate this crash.  Should any additional information become available we will bring it to you.

download-4-1Boston, MA (June 30, 2018) – Police in Boston responded to two hit and run injury accidents in Boston Friday.  One accident, which we previously reported, occurred on Columbia Street.  The second accident happened around 10:00 pm on Bipsham Street.  Officer Vladimir Levhichev responded to the scene.  This crash involved two vehicles.  Injuries were sustained in the accident but they are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

Officer Levichev looked for the hit and run suspect but they were not able to be located in the immediate aftermath of the crash.  The accident remains under further investigation by the Boston Police Department.  No additional details surrounding the accident have been released by police.
