Update: Melrose Man Survives Crash into Home in Saugus

A Melrose man was injured after his car crashed through a guardrail and flew into a home in Saugus. This happened on Friday afternoon. According to police, the driver had a medical issue before the crash. He has not been identified but is said to be around 40-years-old.

The man lost control while driving on Walnut Street. He suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was removed from his vehicle by the Jaws of Life.

Vehicle Accident on Route 24

On May 4, the Brockton Fire Department and Brewster EMS responded on Route 24 to a motor vehicle accident that involved entrapment and possibly injured. Boston Medflight was requested to respond. This incident happened at around noon on Friday.

Man Charged After Jumping on Hood of School Bus
A man was caught on a dashcam video jumping onto the hood of a school bus on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Newton. That man is now facing summons on multiple charges.

The man is 42 and from Dorchester. His name has not been released by the police at this time. He is being charged with disorderly conduct, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and more.

State police have also submitted a request that his license be suspended or revoked.

Man Charged with Driving Wrong Way
A man from Rhode Island is facing multiple traffic charges and a count of drunken driving after going the wrong-way on Route 25 in Bourne. This happened on Saturday morning.

Scott Koziol was arrested after his 2003 Chevy truck hit a police car. The truck rolled into the front bumper and causes a small amount of damage to the police car.

No injuries were reported in this accident. Koziol was arrested just after midnight. Police were alerted to a driver who was driving erratically in the area.

Shooting in Jamaica Plains Leaves 2 DeadPolice in Boston are looking into a shooting that left two people dead.

According to police, two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to a local hospital and listed in critical condition. He died later while at the hospital.

The victims have not been defined at this time. The incident occurred at the Mildred Hailey Apartments Courtyard.

Man Charged With Drunk Driving After Passenger Dies
A man from Haverhill was charged with aggravated drunken driving after an accident that killed a passenger in his car.

Police say that David Aldrich, 28, drove off Route 302 at around 11 at night on Friday and hit a tree. A teenage male in the car was killed. Aldrich, as well as a female teenager, were also taken to the hospital.

Witnesses are being asked to contact state police about this incident. We will update this story if any more information becomes available.

Crash in Auburn

A crash was reported on I-290 in the eastbound lanes in Auburn. There were minor injuries caused by this accident. The right lane going eastbound was closed because of the incident.

2 Injured When Car Crashes in Brockton
On May 4, two people were injured when a crash crashed into the woods off of Route 24. This occurred on Friday afternoon.

One person had to be taken to a nearby hospital by a medical helicopter.

Responders were called to the area of Route 24 near Exit 18 at around 3:10 in the afternoon. The crash involved entrapment and the car was in the woods.
