Mansfield, MA – Rollover Crash Leads to Injuries

Mansfield, MA (July 12, 2018) – A rollover crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Mansfield. The crash, which occurred just after 5:00 pm, took place on Interstate 495, near the interchange with highway 95. The crash, involving two vehicles, left one vehicle rolled onto its side as a result of the impact. Police and rescue workers responded to the scene to discover at least one person suffering from injuries caused by the crash. The victims were transported to the hospital but there is no word at this time on their condition.

Traffic in the northbound lanes was at a standstill while police and others worked to investigate the crash and clear away the accident scene. Huntington, MA- Two Hurt After Crash on Route 112

Huntington, MA (July 12, 2018) – A serious crash on Route 112 in Huntington left two people injured Wednesday evening. Just before 8:00 pm, a pickup truck was traveling on 112, near mile marker 6 when the driver lost control. The car left the roadway, went through a guardrail, and crashed into a set of trees. Massachusetts State Police responded to the crash.

State Police Sgt. Paul Sullivan said that the driver was pinned in the vehicle and that his passenger, a woman, also suffered injuries in the crash. Both the male driver and female passenger were extricated from the truck and rushed to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. There is no word on the extent or severity of their injuries at this time.

The Massachusetts State Police are working with an accident reconstruction team in order to determine what may have caused the crash. There is no further information available at this time.

Brockton, MA – Two Car Rollover Causes Injuries

Brockton, MA (July 10, 2018) – A woman in Brockton sustained injuries in a two car rollover collision Sunday night. Brockton police responded to a crash at the intersection of Park Road and Wheeler Avenue just before 7:00 pm. There, they found that two cars had collided with one another. An 18 year old woman was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The woman was driving a Nissan Murano. When police and fire officials arrived, the Murano was lying on its side against the curb on Park Road. The other vehicle, a Toyota Camry also suffered heavy damage in the crash. The other driver did not suffer injuries. At this time, it is believed that the crash occurred when the Camry ran a stop sign and collided with the Murano. It is expected that Brockton Police will charge the Camry driver for running a stop sign.

Wrentham, MA – One Killed in Overnight Rollover Crash

Wrentham, MA (July 8, 2018) – One person was killed in a rollover crash early Sunday morning in Wrentham. The crash occurred on Interstate 495. This crash occurred less than two hours after a fatal motorcycle crash in Rockland, marking a deadly night on Massachusetts roadways.

The Massachusetts State Police responded to the crash. There, they found a car rolled over from the impact of a recent collision. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. There is no word on what caused the collision. It is also not immediately known if any other drivers or passengers were affected by the collision. Sandwich, MA – One Hurt in Rollover Crash

Sandwich, MA (July 7, 2018) – A rollover crash took place in Sandwich, Massachusetts Friday evening, leaving one person hospitalized. The accident happened around 11:30 pm on Route 6, between exits 2 and 3. A vehicle was traveling in the eastbound lane of the highway when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and crashed the car. The car rolled over before coming to rest.

Police and fire officials responded to the crash scene. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on their own before police arrival. The driver sustained injuries in the rollover and was transported by ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation. The driver’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Wareham, MA – Three Seriously Injured in Rollover Crash

Wareham, MA (July 5, 2018) – A Thursday morning rollover crash left three men in Wareham, Massachusetts seriously injured. The crash happened at approximately 9:38 am in the southbound lanes of Interstate 495. The men, who were all traveling in a pickup truck, were transported to nearby hospitals. One of the men has sustained life-threatening injuries while the other two sustained serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The truck ended up off the side of the roadway and eventually struck a tree before coming to rest. It then caught fire with the men still inside. The Jaws of Life were used to eventually extricate all three men from the truck. The Wareham Police, Middleboro Police and Massachusetts State Police all responded to the crash and assisted with the subsequent investigation. Traffic was snarled around the accident scene for a substantial time as police investigated the crash.

Centerville, MA – Driver Extricated Following Rollover

Centerville, MA (July 2, 2018) – A serious rollover crash took place on Monday in Centerville, Massachusetts. The crash happened at 571 South Main Street. The Barnstable police department and fire officials from Marstons Mills responded to the crash scene. Upon arrival, they discovered a car turned onto its side lying in the roadway. A large boulder was lying nearby the vehicle. It is unclear if the vehicle was transporting the boulder at the time the collision occurred.

Police and rescue workers used hand tools to extricate the driver from the vehicle. He was transported via ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. A towing company was called in to move the boulder out of the roadway. Officers remained on scene for approximately an hour to help clear away the wreckage and allow traffic to return to normal. Springfield, MA – Two Car Rollover Leaves One Injured

Springfield, MA (July 2, 2018) – Springfield police were busy early Sunday morning responding to an injury accident. The crash happened at a four way intersection on Meliville Street and Merrimack Avenue. Lt. Ervin Greene with the Springfield Police reports that the crash involved two vehicles at the intersection. The force of the collision caused one of the vehicles to roll over and land on its side. The vehicle was still lying sideways when police arrived on the scene.

One person was injured in this crash and was taken to a hospital via ambulance. The extent and severity of their injuries was not immediately known. Springfield police continue to investigate and have not said what caused the crash nor have they issued any charges for the collision at this time.
