2 Women Charged in Connection to Found Burned Body
Two women are facing charges connected to the death of a man. The man’s burned body was found in an empty field. Alondra Gil and Mercedes Diaz-Wright, both 22, have been arraigned on charges including perjury.

The women allegedly misled police officers.  

The body of the man, Daniel Cruz, 44, was round in a field in March.

Police Arrest Man in Connection with Stabbing in ChelseaPolice have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing of a waitress in Chelsea that happened this last Monday night.

Authorities say they have arrested Gerardo Reyes Menjivar, 36. He was taken into custody in Beltsville on Thursday morning and is facing multiple charges.

Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes issued a statement that praised the work of the officers.

Firefighters Respond to Fire at Factory
Holyoke firefighters responded to a fire early Thursday. The fire started in a paint booth inside a factor on North Bridge Street. The fire then spread to the roof.

The blaze at International Container Co. was reported at around 4 in the morning.

The fire was quickly put out from inside the building. The spray booth has a sprinkler system that was activated.

Gas Leak Prompts Evacuation of School in Springfield
A natural gas leak at a home on Windermere Street caused the evacuation of Samuel Bowles School on Thursday morning. This happened in Springfield.

Authorities say the gas leak was noticed at the school which sits next to the vacant home at 142 Windermere Street. The leak was reported at around 9 in the morning.

It is unclear at this time if there were injuries involved in this incident.

Sturbridge PD Responds to Hobbs Brook Plaza

Sturbridge Police Department reported that there was a two-car vehicle crash with injuries at Route 20 at Hobbs Brook Plaza. Both of the eastbound lanes were blocked because of the accident. The police department was working hard to clear the wreckage.

Negligence while behind the wheel of a vehicle can lead to dire consequences. By acting negligently, other people can end up seriously injured.

Two people died after a crash on Tuesday in Stoughton.

Neighbors say they knew the crash was bad because of the sound. There was a screech and an explosion.

2 Dogs Under Home Quarantine After Biting Woman
Animal control in Wareham, Massachusetts reported that two pit bull mix dogs are under home quarantine because they attacked and injured a woman.

The dogs were off leash when the attack happened on Monday night in the area of Papermill Road.

The victim did not notify the dog owner of what happened.

Update: 23-year-old Man Killed

Police responded to an accident at around 11 at night on Tuesday and found a Honda Civic on Main Street in Chelmsford.

A man had driven off the curve of the road and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead. No one else was in the car.

Gunshot Victim Has Died
In Springfield, at around 9 on Saturday night, police responded to a shooting that occurred on Margerie Street.

When they got there, they found an adult man who had been shot in the head.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, but he did not survive.

Crews Battle Fire in Pittsfield
On May 7, a part of Brown Street was closed in Pittsfield while crews fought a house fire.

This happened on the evening of May 7.

Pittsfield police tweeted that emergency crews had responded to the scene at 50 Brown Street. They also advised drivers to avoid the area.
