Hit-and-Run Accident on Franklin Street

On May 25, the Worcester Police Department received a report of a hit-and-run accident with minor injuries. The accident occurred around 11 in the morning and involved two-vehicles. Emergency personnel responded at the scene shortly afterwards and found that one of the drivers had fled the scene after the impact.

The incident occurred at the 600 block of Franklin Street. Upon arrival, first responders administered care to the victims who remained at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, and no further details were reported.

One Injured in Crash on Interstate 495

On May 23, an accident near Exit 40 on Interstate-495 injured two and resulted in a fire that engulfed one vehicle and upended another. Emergency responders received notification of an accident along the interstate and proceeded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found a pickup truck and Hyundai hatchback that appeared to have collided.

Through the course of the accident, the pickup truck rolled over onto its hood, severely damaging it as it came to a stop in the left lane. The hatchback remained upright but caught fire as a result of the crash. Andover Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and proceeded to extinguish the engulfed vehicle.

Police Looking for Car Involved in Hit-and-Run on Clyde Street
The actions of hit-and-run drivers can be hard to understand. These people are acting criminally and often leave people suffering and in pain behind.

Springfield police are searching for a car that was involved in a hit-and-run accident near Kenefick Park on Monday night. A witness said that a gold Mercedes hit a pedestrian and dragged him for a while before speeding off. The victim was taken to Baystate Medical Center. Police continue to look for the victim.

Three people were taken to South Shore Hospital with minor injuries. This happened after a man driving a truck hit a car in front of him on Route 3 near the Weymouth accident. This caused a chain reactions crash. Five cars were involved in the wreck and three people were taken to the hospital.

Active Shooter Training

Joint active shooter training was done with Waltham Police Department, Bentley and Brandeis Police Department, Waltham Fire, and Cataldo and E911 Dispatch. This happened on May 15.

This training is important because sadly shooting incidents happen. These incidents can leave incident victims with serious injuries or even cause fatalities. These incidents also put the lives of emergency responders at risk. When victims are injured because of criminal or reckless actions, they can seek to recover their rights. Update: Route 2 Crash
This is an update on a story we reported on earlier today.

Massachusetts State Police reported that there was an accident on Route 2 at Exit 27 in Harvard. There were delays in traffic because of the incident.

A couple hours after the initial accident, all lanes were open and the scene was cleared.

Update: Man Climbs Aboard School Bus in Massachusetts

A man who was driving erratically on the Massachusetts Turnpike alarmed other motorists when he stopped abruptly in the middle of a lane and then climbed onto the hood of a bus.

Police say that the man, 42-years-old and from Dorchester, was driving westbound near Exit 16 in Newton. This happened at around 7:30 in the morning on Tuesday.

Vehicle Accident on Route 24

On May 4, the Brockton Fire Department and Brewster EMS responded on Route 24 to a motor vehicle accident that involved entrapment and possibly injured. Boston Medflight was requested to respond. This incident happened at around noon on Friday.
