download-3Saugus, MA (July 13, 2018) – Police in Saugus, Massachusetts responded to a crash with injuries along Route 1 on Thursday morning.   The accident occurred on Lynn Fells Parkway just after 8:00 am and involved multiple vehicles.  Authorities reported that injuries were sustained in this crash.  Medical personnel arrived on scene, along with police and fire officials.  The injured victims were provided with medical treatment for their injuries.  At this time, there is no information on the severity or extent of injuries suffered in the accident.

The southbound lanes of Route 1 experienced heavy delays leading to the accident scene as police worked on site to investigate the crash and clear the roadway for motorists.  Traffic was backed up for miles, all the way to nearby Lynnfield.  Officers remained at the scene for about an hour.  Residual delays were experienced after the crash was cleared.

The accident remains under investigation with Saugus Police on Friday morning.

Palmer multi-vehicle crashBoston, MA (July 12, 2018) – Boston police responded to an injury accident on the William F. McClellan Highway on Wednesday.  Just after 8:30 am, police received reports of an accident involving injuries at this location.   The accident involved multiple cars, although the cause of the crash is still unknown as police have not released any additional details.  Officer Kevin Golden of the Boston Police Department investigated the crash.

The condition of the injured victims is also unknown at this time.  The Boston police are still investigating the crash and any additional details, including the identity of the drivers and any charges from the accident, will be released as soon as they are made available.

download-4-4Huntington, MA (July 12, 2018) – A serious crash on Route 112 in Huntington left two people injured Wednesday evening.  Just before 8:00 pm, a pickup truck was traveling on 112, near mile marker 6 when the driver lost control.  The car left the roadway, went through a guardrail, and crashed into a set of trees.  Massachusetts State Police responded to the crash.

State Police Sgt. Paul Sullivan said that the driver was pinned in the vehicle and that his passenger, a woman, also suffered injuries in the crash.  Both the male driver and female passenger were extricated from the truck and rushed to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. There is no word on the extent or severity of their injuries at this time.

The Massachusetts State Police are working with an accident reconstruction team in order to determine what may have caused the crash.  There is no further information available at this time.

Accident at Exit 22 in WorcesterHatfield, MA (July 12, 2018) – A three vehicle crash in Hatfield, Massachusetts was reported to police on Wednesday afternoon.  The call came in around 4:05 pm concerning three cars involved in a wreck on northbound Interstate 91, near the Chestnut Street overpass.

Massachusetts State Police responded to the accident call.  Multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene upon reports of injuries suffered in the crash.  Several people were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.  Traffic was slowed for at least two miles coming from the site of the accident in the northbound lanes.  The southbound side also experienced issues due to onlooker delays.

Massachusetts State Police are still investigating and have released no further details regarding the accident as of Thursday morning.

Vehicle Accident with Injury on Bowdoin StreetSaugus, MA (July 11, 2018) – A crash in Saugus, Massachusetts caused injuries and delays for travelers on the Tuesday afternoon commute.  Police first received a call around 4:00 pm regarding a crash in the northbound lanes of Route 1, near Essex Street.  The caller referenced possible injury and also requested that an ambulance respond the scene.

Police and emergency officials responded shortly after the call came in.  Upon arrival, they discovered an accident with injuries.  One person was treated on scene for their injuries.  It is not known if the person was transported to the hospital.  Officials have released on further word on the condition of the injured or the nature of injuries sustained.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.  Traffic in the area was snarled as a result of the accident with vehicles unable to pass by the accident scene while police cleared away the wreckage.

Accident on Route 95 at Exit 8Salem, MA (July 11, 2018) – A two car accident in Salem, Massachusetts on Monday resulted in injuries to at least one driver.  The accident happened at 192 Marlborough Road at approximately 4:00.  Salem Police responded to the scene and began investigating the crash.

Fire and EMS units also responded to the accident.  One person suffered injuries.  The person was treated on scene before being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.  Salem Police are still investigating this crash and how it occurred. No word at this time on the identity of the drivers or whether charges will be filed.  The accident is pending further investigation.

images-6Worcester, MA (July 9, 2018) – Worcester Police spent their weekend responding to a number of injury accident across the city.  On Sunday, patrol officers were dispatched to the 1 block of Elm Street for a multiple vehicle accident with personal injuries.  Police on scene requested medical assistance to treat the injured victims.  Medical units responded to the crash and treated one person for their injuries resulting from the crash.  The extent of injuries remain unknown as of Monday morning.

Police have not determined why this accident occurred, nor have they issued any citations to either driver involved in the crash.  The investigation remains active at this time with the Worcester Police Department.

4-Alarm Fire in Northborough Injures OneYarmouth, MA (July 9, 2018) – A tractor fire occurred on Sunday in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, causing injuries to the driver and delays for local motorists.  Police received the call around 10:00 pm  regarding a fire near exits 8 and 9 along Route 6.  A response to the scene came quickly.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a tractor that had caught fire.  The operator of the tractor suffered burns from the fire and was evaluated on scene by an EMS unit.  The extent of the burns are not known.  The Dennis Fire Department also responded to the scene and provided assistance with extinguishing the blaze.  There were no other cars or passengers involved in this crash.

Route 6 was closed down for a period of time as crews worked to make the roadway safe for passing traffic.  The Massachusetts State Police are investigating the fire and its cause.  The investigation is still ongoing at this time and no other details have been released.

download-6Harwich, MA (July 7, 2018) – A two vehicle collision took place in Harwich, Massachusetts Saturday morning.  The crash happened at 10:45 am on Route 39, near Harwich-Orleans Road.   Two SUVs were involved in the crash and both suffered front-end damage, indicating that the vehicles collided head on.

Harwich police, fire and ambulance all responded to the accident scene shortly after it occurred.  Both drivers received treatment on scene for their injuries, however, they refused to be transported to the hospital.  A fluid spill in the roadway had to be mitigated by the fire department personnel.  Traffic in the area experienced delays while police worked to clear the accident.   There is no additional information regarding the crash at this time.

Motor Vehicle Crash on I-93NPittsfield, MA (July 8, 2018) – A woman was hurt Friday when she collided with another vehicle in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.  The woman, whose name has not been released, was operating a vehicle on Hubbard Avenue around 3:00 pm and attempting to make a turn out of a local business.  The woman then collided with an Mazda SUV that was turning left across traffic.

The resulting impact of the collision left the woman with injuries.  EMS responded to the crash and transported the woman to a local hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to Officer David Hallas of the Pittsfield Police Department.  The crash is still being investigated by local authorities.  Delays were experienced on the scene until about 4:00 pm as police worked to clear away the wreckage from the crash.
