Sandwich, MA (July 8, 2018) – Four people suffered injuries in a two car collision Saturday evening in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Police say that, just before 8:00 pm, two vehicles were traveling on Route 6A at Spring Hill Road when they collided with one another. One of the involved vehicles then struck a utility pole.
Sandwich police, along with fire and rescue units responded to the crash scene to investigate and assist the injured victims. One person had to be extricated from a wrecked vehicle. In total, four people were transported to a nearby hospital for injuries suffered in the crash. At this time, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Sandwich police are still investigating this crash. Delays were present in the area while workers attempted to repair the damaged utility pole. No other information regarding this crash is currently available.
