Hit-and-Run Accident on Main Street

Vehicle accidents can occur even we are not expecting them, and some of these accidents can have devastating consequences. Negligent driving can leave people with injuries and even cause fatalities. Drivers who cause accidents and then leave the scene are acting criminally, and they could be leaving victims behind to suffer from their injuries.

On May 26, the Worcester Police Department received information about a hit-and-run driver that caused an accident on the 900 Block of Main Street. Initial reports found that the accident involved two vehicles, one of which left the scene shortly after the incident occurred. The incident was reported to first responders around 6 in the evening. Fire and police departments arrived on the scene of the accident shortly after.

Medical care was administered at the scene upon arrival, and no individuals had to be taken to the hospital. It appears there were no serious injuries, but the extent of the injuries is still being determined.

Driving negligently can have dire consequences, and drivers who cause an accident and then flee the scene are acting criminally. Hit-and-run drivers could be leaving victims behind who are in need of medical attention.

The Worcester Police Department received a report about a hit-and-run accident on May 25. The accident involved minor injuries and occurred on the 1st block of Belmont Street. First responders arrived at the scene around 2 in the afternoon and found the accident involved two vehicles. One of the vehicle drivers fled the scene shortly after the accident occurred.

The victim spoke to police about the incident, and search is still being conducted for the other driver and vehicle involved. The extent of the injuries was not known, but no fatalities were reported

First responders were dispatched to the scene which occurred on the 700 block of Plantation Street. Upon arrival, medical care was given to at least one victim while at the scene.

Initially, police and fire departments directed traffic around the area, and traffic was soon returned to normal as the scene was cleared quickly. While minor injuries were reported, the full extent of the injuries was not initially released.

On May 25, the Worcester Police Department received information about a pedestrian-vehicle accident with minor injuries. The accident occurred around 3 in the afternoon at the 100 block of Summer Street. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel administered help to the pedestrian for minor injuries. While the extent of the injuries was still being determined, no fatalities were reported. The accident was cleared up within the hour.

Officer Robert Connolly initially responded to the scene, and other emergency responders arrived shortly after receiving notice of the accident.
