Pedestrian Accident in Hyannis, One in Critical Condition

On May 26, a pedestrian accident caused injury to one man. The elderly man was hit by a car while crossing a street in Hyannis. Hyannis emergency officials responded to reports of a pedestrian who had been hit by a car. Upon arrival, they found the victim had extensive injuries, and he was flown by helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.

The driver was a 79-year-old man from Carver who was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Trax. No citations have been issued thus far. Police are still investigating this accident.
