Hit-and-Run Victim Identified, Search for Witness Ongoing

Car accidents can happen out of nowhere, and they can have fatal consequences. It is vital to remember that reckless driving can cause serious injury and can also have deadly impacts. This is why all drivers must remain attentive at all times and remember the duty of care they have to others around them.

On May 26, a man was killed after a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston. Massachusetts State Police identified the victim as 40-year-old Pierre Desir of Boston.

Desir was walking on Morton Street when a driver struck him. The vehicle that struck him did not stop. Upon arrival, first responders secured the scene and begin the investigation. Police are still seeking a taxi driver who may have witnessed the crash. The investigation into the accident is still ongoing by state police.

Update: Four Teens Who Died in Crash Were Stoughton High Students

Car accidents can lead to fatalities. These tragic accidents are hard to understand.

Four teenagers were killed and one was injured in a crash in East Bridgewater. They were all students at Stoughton High School.

The victims have been identified as Christopher Desir, 17, of Brockton, Eric Sarblah, 17, of Stoughton and Nick Joyce, 16, of Stoughton, and David Bell, 17.

Man Killed in Shooting Outside Haverhill Deli

It is extremely hard to understand why people commit violent acts against one another.

A 20-year-old man died after a shooting on Thursday evening near a deli in Haverhill.

Witnesses said they heard as many as five shots. The victim was taken to Merrimack Valley Hospital and then airlifted to Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He was pronounced dead while there.

Update: Video Links Gunman to Jamaica Plain Murders

A man charged with killing two innocent bystanders in Jamaica Plain pleaded not guilty.

Wilvin Guity, 28, had been held without bail. He shot and killed Christopher Joyce and Claborn Blair after getting out of a car and firing randomly at Mildred Hailey Apartments. This incident happened on May 4.

Police have identified an engaged couple as the victims of a violent car crash that happened on Tuesday night.

The victims are Angie Goodrich, 38, and Michael Luddington, 48.

Gunshot Victim Has Died

In Springfield, at around 9 on Saturday night, police responded to a shooting that occurred on Margerie Street.

When they got there, they found an adult man who had been shot in the head.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, but he did not survive.

Patrick Burns Dies in Car Accident in Cambridge

Patrick Burns from Lexington died on Sunday, May 6 at Mount Auburn Hospital after his car hit a pole and trapped him in his car. He was 24-years-old. This happened in Cambridge.

The Brighton Barracks of the Massachusetts State Police responded at around 4:20 in the morning. The crash happened at Sozio rotary on Concord Avenue.

EMS took burns to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
