House Fire in Plymouth Injures One

On May 28, first responders in Plymouth received information about a house fire early in the morning. The fire was reported at 5:30 a.m. at 1030 Bourne Road, according to Plymouth fire officials.

When firefighters arrived on the scene shortly afterwards, they found that the home was fully involved. The family was able to get out of the house, and one person had to be taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries. The extent of their injuries is still being determined. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Hit-and-Run Accident on Purchase Street

Drivers who flee the scene of an accident are acting criminally and could be leaving victims behind to suffer.

On May 25, the Boston Police Department received information about a motor vehicle accident that involved a hit-and-run driver. Internal reports indicated the accident involved two vehicles, one of which fled the scene. The accident was reported around 11 in the morning and occurred at 109 Purchase Street.

Officer Kenneth Curley was the first to arrive at the scene, and other emergency responders follow shortly after. Upon arrival, they found that at least one victim suffered from injuries. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, but the injuries do not appear to have been life-threatening.

Pedestrian Accident on Blue Hill Avenue

Pedestrians are some of the most vulnerable people on the roads. Accidents involving pedestrians can be some of the most severe as pedestrians are not protected by a vehicle or a helmet. The risk of serious injury is high with these incidents. Drivers must remember to look out for pedestrians and pedestrians must always remain vigilant.

On May 27, the Boston Police Department received a call about a pedestrian accident that occurred on 350 Blue Hill Avenue. The accident was reported around 2 in the afternoon, and police and other first responders arrived at the scene shortly afterwards.

Officer Wayne Hester was the first to arrive, and he found that a pedestrian was suffering from injuries. EMS administered care to this individual, but the extent of their injuries is still being determined. However, no fatalities were reported.

On May 27, the Worcester Police Department received information about a multi-vehicle accident. The incident was reported to police around 3 in the morning, and first responders arrived at the scene on the 100 block of Hamilton Street shortly afterwards.

Once they arrived, emergency personnel found that one victim was suffering from injuries, so they administered medical care at the scene. Other responders directed traffic around the area. The extent of this individual’s injuries are still being determined, but they do not appear to be life-threatening.

Accident on Washington Street

We all need to do our part to keep our roads safe, and this means we must all remain cautious and attentive when behind the wheel.

On May 24, Cambridge Police responded to Cambridge City Hall after receiving a hit-and-run report. They arrived at the scene of the accident which occurred on Washington Street around 12:50 p.m. They found that an unknown suspect struck a victim’s vehicle and then fled the scene without making themselves known to the victim.

Emergency responders administered medical care to the victim who had sustained minor injuries. The injuries did not appear to be serious, but their extent is still being determined. Police are still investigating this incident, and they took statements from the victims and witnesses.

On May 27, the Boston Police Department received information about a vehicle accident that involved a hit-and-run driver. The accident was reported to police around noon, and they responded to the scene shortly afterwards.

Upon arriving at the scene at 1194 Blue Hill Avenue, they found that at least one individual was suffering from injuries, so they administered medical care at the scene. They also learned that one of the drivers involved had fled the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, and police are still investigating this incident.

On May 27, Boston EMS responded to a call about a pedestrian accident that occurred in Mattapan. They received the call around 9 p.m. and arrived at the scene shortly afterwards.

The accident occurred on Morton Street and Fuller Street. Upon arrival, first responders administered care to one person who was unconscious. The extent of their injuries is still being determined. However, no fatalities were reported. Other emergency personnel directed traffic around the area.

Accident on Route 2, One Fatality

Vehicles tend to be traveling at high speeds, and this means impacts can be more serious. While driving on freeways and highways, it is vital to remember to remain extra attentive and cautious at all times. Reckless driving at high speeds can have catastrophic consequences.

On May 27, a car hit a boulder and burst into flames leading to the death of the driver. Massachusetts State Police and other emergency responders received the information of the crash and arrived on the scene quickly. This accident occurred in Westminster on Route 2 at approximately 2:30 a.m. The accident appeared to have been caused by another driver, but this accident is still being investigated.

State Police were assisted by the Westminster Fire and Emergency Medical Service and Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
