Emergency personnel received information about the accident around 4 p.m., and they were dispatched to the scene shortly afterwards.

Upon arrival, they found that some of the individuals in the accident had been injured in the collision. The full extent of the injuries is not known, but the injuries did not cause fatalities. The incident was cleared within the hour and traffic flow resumed as normal.

Police and fire authorities were called to the scene, and, upon arrival, they found that one individual was suffering from injuries. Medical care was given to this person at the scene.

The injuries do not appear to have been life-threatening, and no fatalities were reported.

On June 8, State police responded to a vehicle crash that occurred on the westbound side of the Massachusetts Turnpike in Springfield. The crash occurred about a mile before exit 6. The incident was called into police around 9 in the morning. Upon arrival, police reported that two motorists were involved the crash.

One individual was injured in this accident, but the extent of their injuries is still being determined. Medical care was administered to this individual at the scene. The crash is still under investigation by police.
