Accident on Route 2, One Fatality
Highways can be some of the most dangerous roads as the accidents that occur on these streets can be some of the most severe. On May 27, a car hit a boulder and burst into flames leading to the death of the driver. Massachusetts State Police and other emergency responders received the information of the crash and arrived on the scene quickly. This accident occurred in Westminster on Route 2 at approximately 2:30 a.m. The accident appeared to have been caused by another driver, but this accident is still being investigated.

State Police were assisted by the Westminster Fire and Emergency Medical Service and Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

This incident occurred at around 10:40 in the morning in a house on Evelyn Street. The victim, a male in his 30’s, was taken to Boston Medical Center and pronounced dead there.

Update: Athol Fatal Car Crash
This is an update on a story we posted on earlier today.

One person died after a crash at South Athol Road and Riverview Avenue. This accident occurred at around 8:45 at night on Sunday. This information comes from police.

The car, a Nissan Altima, struck a tree and was on the roof when responders got there. One person was ejected from the vehicle. Two other people had to be freed by firefighters.

Woman Dead, Man Injured in Head-On Collision
In Plympton, a head-on collision that happened on Thursday caused the death of one woman and injured one man.

Police were called to Route 106 at around 5 in the evening. Diane Giordani, 52, was pronounced dead.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

The operator of a 2003 Jeep Liberty died when his vehicle hit another vehicle has been identified. He has been tentatively identified as John Souza, 38, from Cranston, Rhode Island.

Police have identified the victims of the Stoughton crash as Angie Goodrich, 38, and Michael Luddington, 48.

2 Women Charged in Connection to Found Burned Body
