Franklin, MA – Two Car Crash on I-495

Franklin, MA (July 13, 2018) – A two car crash on I-495 in Franklin caused injuries and left motorists experiencing major delays along their Friday morning commute. The accident was first reported around 6:30 am in the northbound lanes of the highway, just before exit 17. Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Although it is not clear how the vehicles collided, one car was in the breakdown lane of the roadway while the other was stranded in the median.

An ambulance was on scene to assist the accident victims but there is no word on the extent of injuries at this time. Traffic experienced extremely heavy delays in the northbound lanes of 495 while police and other personnel worked to clear the accident scene. Onlooker delays from the other side of the roadway are also expected with the crash.

Lynn, MA – Injury Accident on Washington Street

Lynn, MA (July 10, 2018) – Police in Lynn, Massachusetts report a car accident with injuries that occurred on Monday morning. At 10:26 am, officers with the Lynn Police Department were dispatched in reference to an accident with injuries at 376 Washington Street. There was at least one person injured in this accident.

Police are actively investigating the cause of the collision but have released no details on how it occurred or the sequence of events that led to the crash. The injured person was treated on scene by paramedics and no additional details regarding the extent or severity of the injuries are available at this time. Police cleared the roadway and traffic flow around the area was moving freely by noon. No other details regarding the crash are available at this time.

Boston, MA – Injury Accident on Neponset Avenue

Boston, MA (June 28, 2018) – Boston police were busy responding to several injury accidents across the city on Thursday. One such accident took place on Neponset Avenue. Just after midnight, police received reports of an accident involving injuries at 109 Neponset. The accident involved multiple cars, although the cause of the crash is still unknown as police have not released any additional details.

The condition of the injured victims is also unknown at this time. The Boston police are still investigating the crash and any additional details, including the identity of the drivers and any charges from the accident, will be released as soon as they are made available.

Driver Identified in Chelsea Bicycle Hit and Run

The driver in a hit and run crash with a bicyclist has been identified by authorities. Previously, we reported that a bicyclist was hit on Saturday night on Revere Beach Parkway. The bicyclist was injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital. The driver fled his vehicle and left the vehicle at the collision scene with the bicycle still lodged underneath. Later, police apprehended the driver about a mile away in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Police in Revere have now identified the driver as 27 year old Josue Flores-Ochoa. Ochoa has been arrested and charged with several offenses, including leaving the scene of a crash, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI-Liquor. The remainder of the accident remains under investigation. Massachusetts State Police are assisting local authorities in the investigation.
