PVTA bus incidentAn unprovoked PVTA bus incident took place that ended with two passenger’s throats being slashed. The incident happened when 26-year-old Brietta Brown pulled out her knife and started threatening passengers on board a bus. She then slashed two people who didn’t provoke her.

The driver quickly pulled the bus onto Route 9 near a restaurant to try and get the situation under control. He and the passengers wrestled away the weapon and the woman continued to struggle.

Pratt Street accidentOne person was taken to a trauma center for injury treatment after a Pratt Street accident that took place in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The accident was so severe that it shut down part of the street on Saturday night.

The accident took place around 7 p.m. in the evening. The crash was a single-vehicle crash near Bicentennial Court. The Jaws of Life were used to retrieve the victim from their car. The individual was then transported to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
