Tractor-Trailer Crash in Milton Causes Injuries
On June 10, State Police received a report of an accident that involved a tractor-trailer and one other vehicle. The accident occurred shortly before 8 in the morning, and first responders were dispatched to the scene quickly upon hearing the news of the accident. This incident occurred on I-93 going northbound in Milton.

Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders secured the area and discovered that some of the individuals involved in the accident had sustained injuries from the crash. The right two lanes of the road were closed as EMTs administered medical care to these individuals. Traffic was diverted around the area. The extent of their injuries involved in the accident is still under review. However, no fatalities were reported.

Tractor-Trailer Crash on I-93 Slows Morning Commute
Trucking accidents can be some of the most lethal. These vehicles are much bigger than the average car, and they can cause major injuries when they are involved in accidents. Truck drivers must remain vigilant and pay attention to other cars around them, and other vehicles must use caution when around large trucks.

On June 6, State Police received a report of a vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer. The information was received around 10 in the morning and occurred on Interstate 93 in Milton. Upon arrival, they found that one other vehicle was involved in the crash that occurred near Exit 11. The other vehicle rolled over and came to a stop on top of the truck.

One individual was injured in the accident, and medical care was administered at the scene. The extent of their injuries is still under review. However, no fatalities were reported.

Tractor Trailer and Dump Truck Collide in Easton, Injuring One
Trucking accidents can be some of most severe accidents that happen on roads. These accidents can lead to serious injuries because these trucks are much larger than the average car on the road. Drivers must remember to remain cautious whenever they are driving near large vehicles, and truckers must do their part to be extra careful and vigilant.

On June 5, Easton police and firefighters responded to the area of 534 Foundry Street around 8:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a two-vehicle collision. While responding, they received multiple calls reporting the crash was head-on.

Upon arrival, first responders found a dump truck had hit into a tractor-trailer truck and both vehicles were in the middle of one of the lanes. One of the drivers was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center. Traffic remained impact in the area for over an hour as the scene was cleared. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.

3-Car Crash in Woolwich Injures Two
Vehicle accidents can happen even when we are not expecting them, and accidents that involve multiple vehicles can be especially dire. Negligent driving can leave people suffering from injuries and even cause fatalities. Drivers must all do their part to remain aware and do their best to keep themselves and others safe.

On June 4, a car crash involving three vehicles was reported to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office. First responders arrived to the scene of the collision at the intersection on Montsweag Road. Upon arrival, they found that a 2016 Volvo tractor-trailer being driven by Raymond Lemon of Ware was southbound on Route 1 when it ran into a 2015 Ford Focus. The Focus was driven by Megan Horne who was attempting to make a left turn. The crash then pushed the car into the oncoming lane where it was struck by a 2015 Toyota being driven by Betty J. Yock.  


Horne suffered back and neck injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Yock was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
