Trucking accidents can be some of most severe accidents that happen on roads. These accidents can lead to serious injuries because these trucks are much larger than the average car on the road. Drivers must remember to remain cautious whenever they are driving near large vehicles, and truckers must do their part to be extra careful and vigilant.
On June 5, Easton police and firefighters responded to the area of 534 Foundry Street around 8:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a two-vehicle collision. While responding, they received multiple calls reporting the crash was head-on.
Upon arrival, first responders found a dump truck had hit into a tractor-trailer truck and both vehicles were in the middle of one of the lanes. One of the drivers was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center. Traffic remained impact in the area for over an hour as the scene was cleared. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Trucking Accidents and Injuries
Trucking accidents and accidents involving other large vehicles can sometimes be quite catastrophic. These vehicles have large blind spots and can take longer to come to a complete stop than smaller cars. These facts must be taken into consideration, and all people must do their part when driving to prevent these accidents.
We urge all drivers in our community to do their best to keep accidents from occurring. We at the Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers are involved members of the community, and we are passionate about raising awareness of the potential consequences of reckless driving. However we know that accidents can happen to even the most cautious driver, so we are also dedicated to helping victims get the help they need so they can focus on healing.
