Bicycle Accident Injures 15-Year-Old

Vehicle-related accidents can happen anywhere and at any time, and the consequences of these accidents can be devastating. Accidents that involve bicyclists can be especially severe as these individuals are not protected by a vehicle.

On May 31, police in Upton, Massachusetts received a report of a vehicle accident involving a 15-year-old on a bicycle. The boy was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Wednesday afternoon.

Upton police say they responded to a report of a crash that occurred near Station Street and Grove Streets around 3 in the afternoon. The teen was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester to be treated for serious injuries. The driver has been identified as 69-year-old Mary Chiulii. It is not clear at this time whether or not she will face charges. This crash is still being investigated by police.

Injury Accident at Kelley Square

On May 31, the Worcester Police Department receives information about a two-vehicle accident that involved a hit-and-run driver. The accident involved injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening. The police received news of the accident at 6 in the evening and arrived shortly afterwards to the scene at the 1st block of Kelley Square.

Initially, emergency responders directed traffic around the area, and within the hour, the scene was cleared. The victim spoke to police about the incident. The search for the hit-and-run driver is still ongoing, and no further details were reported.

On May 31, a 28-year-old man was taken to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle while skateboarding. Police received word of the accident and arrived at the scene near Pocasset Street and Broadway.

The victim has been identified as Jared Almond. He was unable to stop his skateboard as he approached the intersection and collided with a motor vehicle. He sustained injuries, but they did not appear to be life-threatening. The accident was reported just before 9 in the morning, and police cleared the scene within half an hour.

On May 31, State Police received a call about a multi-vehicle accident. They received information about this incident around 4:30 in the morning, and emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene quickly. Upon arrival at I-290 at Exit 25, they found that at least one person had suffered injuries, and medical care was administered to this individual. The injuries appear to have been not life-threatening, but they are still under review.

The scene was cleared soon after, and the normal flow of traffic was quickly resumed.

State Police received a call about a motor vehicle injury accident on May 31. Initial reports indicated that the accident involved two vehicles. The accident was reported to police around 1:20 in the afternoon. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly afterwards and arrived at the accident on Expressway North at Exit 14: Morrissey Boulevard.

First responders secured the area and directed traffic around the scene. At least one individual suffered injuries in the accident, and medical care was given to this individual at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined. However, no fatalities were reported.

On May 31, State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries. The incident occurred on Route 31 northbound at Exit 20 on the Massachusetts Parkway and was reported to police around 1:00 p.m. Emergency personnel responded to the scene soon afterwards and found that at least one individual had sustained injuries due to the crash.

Police and fire departments directed traffic around the area while the scene was cleared and medical care was given to the victim. The extent of the injuries is still under review. However, no fatalities were reported.
