Pedestrian Accident on Fan Pier Boulevard Injures One

Officer Edward Cox initially responded to this scene, and other emergency responders arrived shortly after receiving notice of the incident.

Upon arrival, first responders administered care to the pedestrian who had been injured in the crash. The scene was secured for investigation into the accident. The extent of the injuries is still under review. However, no fatalities were reported.

On June 6, the Boston Police Department received information about a car accident. The call was received around 12:10 p.m., and emergency responders arrived at the scene quickly. Officer Mercedes Parker and other first responders secured the scene and directed traffic around the area. The accident occurred at 480 William F. McClellan Highway.

Upon arrival, they found that one individual had sustained injuries in the crash. Medical care was given to this individual at the scene. The extent of their injuries is still under review. No fatalities were reported.

On June 6, the Worcester Police Department responded to call they received about a hit-and-run accident. The accident was reported at approximately 5 in the evening, and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly afterwards. The incident occurred on the 1st block of Park Avenue.

Once they arrived at the scene, emergency personnel found that some of the individuals involved in the accident had sustained injuries, and medical care was given to these individuals at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, and police are still investigating the crash.

Update: Victim of Route 2 Crash Identified as Duane Vachon

Reckless driving can have severe consequences, and we must all keep ourselves and others safe by following the rules of the road.

In Westminster, the man killed in a fiery crash on Route 2 has been identified by state police as a 48-year-old man from Lunenburg. Duane Vachon passed away after the accident that involved his 2007 GMC Yukon and one other vehicle occurred causing his vehicle to strike a rock and burst into flames. Mr. Vachon was pronounced dead at the scene. His daughter is raising funds online to pay for his funeral expenses.

Vehicle Accident on Mayfield Street

On June 6, the Worcester Police Department received a report about a two-vehicle accident. The incident was reported to police around 4 in the afternoon, and first responders arrived on the scene shortly after.

The incident occurred on the 100 block of Mayfield Street. Fire and police officials found that one individual had sustained injuries in the accident, and medical care was given to this individual. Their injuries are still under review, and no fatalities were reported. The accident was cleared within the hour and the normal flow of traffic resumed.

One Seriously Injured in House Fire on Oberlin Street

Fires are a raging force of nature, and they can do extreme damage to objects as well as living things. A fire can get out of control quickly and cause harm to anyone or anything in its path. Since this is the case, we must all do our best to prevent fires from happening by practicing fire safety habits and not being negligent.

On June 6, a fire was reported to Worcester fire and police officials. The call came in around 7:30 p.m. with a report of a fire in the building at 15 Oberlin Street and residents were reported to be still inside. The first arriving firefighters from the Park Avenue station saw heavy flames on the second floor.

Firefighters rescued one victim who had sustained serious injuries. The victim was taken by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center. After about 40 minutes, the fire was extinguished by crews. The Fire Investigation Unit was called to investigate. The building is a multi-unit home owned by BCR Properties.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the car was struck by a motorcycle attempting to pass the car on the left. The motorcycle then fled the scene at a high rate of speed.
