Norwood, MA – Crash with Serious Injuries on Route 1

images-6Norwood, MA (June 26, 2018) – A vehicle accident has been reported to police in Norwood, Massachsetts on Tuesday afternoon.  The crash occurred just after 11 am along Route 1 at Morse Street.  Multiple cars are involved in this crash.  Police and emergency officials are actively working the scene at this time.  Unfortunately, serious injuries were sustained in this collision but there is no further clarification regarding the nature or extent of the injuries at this time.  The injured were transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

Motorists along the route experienced heavy delays approaching the accident.  Police are working to investigate the accident and clear the scene but there is no word on when the roadway is expected to re-open.  No further details are immediately available.  Our thoughts are with those injured in this serious accident.
