Accident Reported on Abbotsford Street

A car accident can happen when we are least expecting it to. When driving, it is easy to get distracted by the radio or our thoughts and forget to focus on the road, but we must all do our best to remain aware of our surroundings when behind the wheel. Car accidents can have serious outcomes, and it is vital that we all do our part to prevent them.

On June 6, the Boston Police Department received information about a vehicle accident. The call was received around 6:00 in the evening, and emergency responders arrived at the scene quickly. Upon arrival, they found that two-vehicles had been involved in the accident.

The accident occurred on Abbotsford Street and Officer Gregory Joseph was one of the first to arrive on the scene. At least one individual sustained injuries in the crash, and medical care was administered. The extent of their injuries is still under review.

Bicycle Accident on Hardwick Street

Bicycle accidents can be some of the most dangerous vehicle-related accidents because bicyclists are not protected by a vehicle. These accidents can do serious damage, and they can leave victims suffering from long-lasting injuries that mean medical treatments for many years. It is important for all drivers to remember to look out for cyclists.

On June 6, the Boston Police Department received a report of a moving vehicle accident that involved a bicyclist. The accident occurred around 6:30 in the evening on Hardwick Street. Officer Shari’s Barkhordarian initially responded at the scene and other emergency responders arrived soon after to provide support.

Once arrival, first responders administer care to the injured cyclist and secured the area. The injury sustained do not appear to be life-threatening, but the extent of the injuries is still under review.

Accident on Highway 32

Vehicle accidents can happen suddenly, and accidents that happen on highways can be some of the most severe. Vehicles tend to be going at high speeds on these roads which means collision can do a great deal of damage. All drivers must do their part to keep highways safe by following the rule of the road at all times.

On June 6, State Police received information about a car accident that occurred at 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of Henderson and Highway 32. First responders were dispatched to the scene and secured the area.

Upon arrival, they found that a 1997 Ford Thunderbird being driven by Laura Gurley caused the accident as she attempted to make a left turn into a local bank parking lot and missed the entrance. The driver of the other vehicle was injured in the collision, but the extent of their injuries is still under review. The scene was cleared within the hour.

Pedestrian Accident on Fan Pier Boulevard Injures One

Pedestrian accidents can be quite dangerous to pedestrians because they are not protected by any protective gear such as helmets. These accidents can do severe damage, and they can leave victims suffering from injuries for years to come. It is essential for all drivers to remember to share the road with pedestrians, and pedestrians must also do their part to remain aware.

On June 6, the Boston Police Department received a report of a moving vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. The accident occurred around 10:50 at night on Fan Pier Boulevard. Officer Edward Cox initially responded to this scene, and other emergency responders arrived shortly after receiving notice of the incident.

Upon arrival, first responders administered care to the pedestrian who had been injured in the crash. The scene was secured for investigation into the accident. The extent of the injuries is still under review. However, no fatalities were reported.

Injury Accident on William F. McClellan Highway

Car accidents can have severe outcomes, and we must all do our best to keep them from happening.

On June 6, the Boston Police Department received information about a car accident. The call was received around 12:10 p.m., and emergency responders arrived at the scene quickly. Officer Mercedes Parker and other first responders secured the scene and directed traffic around the area. The accident occurred at 480 William F. McClellan Highway.

Upon arrival, they found that one individual had sustained injuries in the crash. Medical care was given to this individual at the scene. The extent of their injuries is still under review. No fatalities were reported.

Hit-and-Run Accident on Park Avenue in Worcester

A car accident can happen anywhere, even on roads that are less busy and smaller. Some car accidents can leave victims dealing with serious injuries, and the impacts can be long-lasting and negative. As such, all drivers need to do their best to remain attentive and drive cautiously, regardless of where they are driving. Hit-and-run drivers are acting particularly negligently and could be leaving victims behind to suffer, and these accidents can be hard to deal with.

On June 6, the Worcester Police Department responded to call they received about a hit-and-run accident. The accident was reported at approximately 5 in the evening, and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly afterwards. The incident occurred on the 1st block of Park Avenue.

Once they arrived at the scene, emergency personnel found that some of the individuals involved in the accident had sustained injuries, and medical care was given to these individuals at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, and police are still investigating the crash.

Update: Victim of Route 2 Crash Identified as Duane Vachon

Vehicle accidents can sometimes cause critical injuries, and they can sometimes be deadly. This fact means that all drivers must remember to remain aware of their surroundings and do their best to keep accidents from occurring. Reckless driving can have severe consequences, and we must all keep ourselves and others safe by following the rules of the road.

In Westminster, the man killed in a fiery crash on Route 2 has been identified by state police as a 48-year-old man from Lunenburg. Duane Vachon passed away after the accident that involved his 2007 GMC Yukon and one other vehicle occurred causing his vehicle to strike a rock and burst into flames. Mr. Vachon was pronounced dead at the scene. His daughter is raising funds online to pay for his funeral expenses.

Vehicle Accident on Mayfield Street

While driving on busier roads may make a car accident more likely to happen, car accidents can also occur on uncongested roads. These accidents can lead to severe injuries, and they can happen out of nowhere. It is vital to remain attentive whenever you are behind the wheel. This applies to any street and at any time, not just on large highways.

On June 6, the Worcester Police Department received a report about a two-vehicle accident. The incident was reported to police around 4 in the afternoon, and first responders arrived on the scene shortly after.

The incident occurred on the 100 block of Mayfield Street. Fire and police officials found that one individual had sustained injuries in the accident, and medical care was given to this individual. Their injuries are still under review, and no fatalities were reported. The accident was cleared within the hour and the normal flow of traffic resumed.

One Seriously Injured in House Fire on Oberlin Street

Fires are a raging force of nature, and they can do extreme damage to objects as well as living things. A fire can get out of control quickly and cause harm to anyone or anything in its path. Since this is the case, we must all do our best to prevent fires from happening by practicing fire safety habits and not being negligent.

On June 6, a fire was reported to Worcester fire and police officials. The call came in around 7:30 p.m. with a report of a fire in the building at 15 Oberlin Street and residents were reported to be still inside. The first arriving firefighters from the Park Avenue station saw heavy flames on the second floor.

Firefighters rescued one victim who had sustained serious injuries. The victim was taken by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center. After about 40 minutes, the fire was extinguished by crews. The Fire Investigation Unit was called to investigate. The building is a multi-unit home owned by BCR Properties.

Accident with Injury on Grafton Street

A car accident can happen at any time, and some car accidents can be quite severe. They can leave people dealing with major injuries that impact their lives for years in terminal ways.

On June 5, the Worcester Police Department received information about a two-vehicle accident. The accident involved injuries and was reported to the police around 2 in the afternoon. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene quickly. The accident occurred on the 500 block of Grafton Street.

Initially, emergency responders directed traffic around the area, and within the hour, the scene was cleared. One individual was injured in the collision, and emergency medical care was administered at the scene. No fatalities were reported.
