Drunk Driver Causes Crash in Wilmington

A vehicle accident can happen at any time, even on roads that seem safe and quiet. Drunk drivers put other people at risk. Their actions are criminal, and they could end up causing accidents that lead to fatalities. The actions of drunk drivers are no small matter.

On June 7, Wilmington Police responded to a call they received about a vehicle accident. The accident was reported at approximately 1:50 in the afternoon, and emergency responders arrived on the scene soon afterwards.

The accident occurred on Aldrich Road and involved two vehicles. Upon arrival, they found that one individual had been injured in the crash, and emergency medical care was given to this individual. Police arrested mark Khalfe, 21, and charged him with speeding and OUI. The name of the injured person was not released.
