Drunk Driver Personal Injury Lawsuits

Massachusetts laws prohibit driving while under the influence, and no one should drive if there is ever a measurable amount of alcohol in the person. Unfortunately, the roads are full of irresponsible and impaired drivers. From 2003-2012, approximately 1,300 people have died in Massachusetts from drunk driving car accidents according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Although the criminal courts may take care of the impaired driver by punishing them, the route to recover for a victim’s injuries is civil court. A Massachusetts personal injury lawsuit will allow you to recover compensation from the drunk driver’s negligent behavior. Injuries suffered in a drunk driver car accident are almost always severe.

The money you receive in a lawsuit will not reverse the injuries and trauma suffered by the victim, but an award will bring the victim vindication and financial assistance. Injuries case medical bills, lost wages and other emotional damage. If you have been injured at the hands of a drunk driver, please call the Law Offices of Jeffrey S.
