Teen Accused of Armed Robbery of Ride-Share Driver

A teenage boy has been charged and arrested because of an armed robbery of a rideshare driver.

Brockton police arrested the boy on Thursday night in connection with the robbery.

On April 28, a Brockton man who was driving for Lyft was robbed by a rider. The subject used a bladed object and robbed him of his phone.

This occurred on Centre Street and Massasoit Avenue.

The investigation continues. The name of the boy has not been released.
