Injury Crash in Charlton as Car Collides with RV

748825_crash_car-300x242Early Tuesday evening, May 1, 2018, a car and RV collided causing injuries to the driver of the vehicle.  The accident happened around 6:00 pm at a business off of Route 20.

Both the car and the RV caught on fire immediately upon impact.  Charlton Police state the accident was in the parking lot of O’Malley’s Truck & Auto Body.  Preliminary investigations show that the car was travelling through the parking lot when it struck the stationary RV.

The driver of the car sustained injuries due to the impact of the car and RV.  They were transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment of their injuries.  Their injuries have been classified as non-life-threatening.

The investigation in to the accident is still active and ongoing.
