Boston Police Investigate Personal Injury Accident

Boston Police are investigating a personal injury accident that occurred on Wednesday morning.  At 9:40 am, Officer Andrew Minichello with the Boston Police Department responded to the scene of an accident that took place on Cummins Highway.  Officer Minichello discovered a multiple vehicle accident with at least one person injured on scene.  Traffic was slowed at the accident scene as police worked to clear away debris and damaged vehicles.

Medical treatment was given to the injured victims on the scene.   We do not have any indication that life-threatening injuries were sustained.  We also do not have any indication as to the cause or sequence of events leading up to the crash.  Officer Minichello and other officers were able to clear the roadway and allow traffic on Cummins Highway to resume normal flow after a brief delay during the investigation stages.
