Worcester Police responded to a vehicle accident with injuries occurring on Gates Street early Sunday morning.  The report of an accident came in to police around midnight.  The report stated that the accident had occurred in the 1 block of Gates.  Police went to the scene to discovery an accident with injuries, as reported by the caller.

Officers worked to secure the crash scene and verify the condition of those injured.  All involved remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.  The cause of the accident has not been revealed by police at this time and the severity of the injuries is unknown.  Police are still investigating to determine if any charges will be issued as a result of the crash.   The drivers were not immediately identified.
