Hit-and-Run on Scott Street

Hit-and-Run on Scott Street

A car accident can happen anywhere, even on roads that are uncongested and less busy. Some car accidents can leave victims dealing with serious injuries, and the impacts can be long-lasting and detrimental. As such, all drivers need to do their part to remain attentive and drive cautiously, no matter where they are driving. Hit-and-run drivers are acting particularly recklessly and leaving victims behind to suffer, and these accidents can be hard to deal with.

On May 29, Cambridge Police responded to a call they received about a hit-and-run accident. The accident was reported at approximately 3:00 p.m., and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly afterwards. The incident occurred on Scott Street.

Once they arrived at the scene, emergency personnel found that at least one person had sustained injuries, and medical care was given to this individual at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, and police are still investigating the crash.

Accidents and Injuries

Hit-and-run accidents can be extremely devastating as they can leave victims behind to suffer from injuries and not receive the help they need. Fleeing the scene of an accident is a criminal offense. When accidents happen, drivers need to take responsibility and remain on the scene to help anyone who is injured. Victims have a right to receive assistance for their injuries so that they can focus on recovery.

We at the Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers see the potentially devastating consequences of accidents when we help victims and their families with their cases. We strongly ask that all drivers follow all traffic laws at all times and remain cautious. We know that accidents can happen to even the most aware and cautious drivers, so we are also here to help victims receive help so they can focus on moving forward with their lives.
