On May 28, police in Chicopee received a call about a head-on collision. The crash occurred on Monday night and occurred on East Main Street between Broadway Street and Hilton Street before 10pm
Officer Mike Wilk was one of the first responders at the scene. Other emergency responders arrived soon afterwards and found that at least one person has sustained minor injuries. The extent of these injuries is still under review, but they do not appear to have been major. Emergency personnel closed part of the road while the crash was investigated, and the area was reopened about an hour later.
