Pedestrian Accident on Harrison Avenue

Vehicle accidents can happen suddenly, and accidents that involve pedestrians can be especially traumatic. Pedestrians are not protected by helmets or seatbelts, and the injuries they sustain tend to be serious. All drivers must do their part to look out for pedestrians, and pedestrians must also use caution when walking along streets.

On May 31, the Boston Police Department received information about a pedestrian accident involving a moving vehicle. The accident involved minor injuries to the pedestrians, and medical aid was given to this person at the scene. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The accident occurred on Harrison Avenue around 8:15 a.m.

Officer Eric Travers was the first to arrive on the scene and other emergency personnel arrived soon after. Upon arrival, statements were taken and the scene was secured. No further details were reported.

Injuries and Pedestrian Accidents

While the extent of the injuries sustained in this accident appear to have been minor, some pedestrian accidents are much more dire. Pedestrian accidents often cause catastrophic injuries to victims. When victims are injured in these incidents, they have a right to seek recovery for their losses so they can focus on the healing process.

As dedicated members of the community, we want to do our part to keep our roads safe for everyone. We urge all drivers to remain aware of pedestrians, and we ask all pedestrians to remain vigilant. At the Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers, we know that accidents can happen even when we are all trying to prevent them, so we are also here to help victims who are seeking assistance so they can move forward with their lives.
