Pedestrian Accident at South Hampton Street

Pedestrian accidents can be some of the most lethal of all vehicle-related accidents. This is because pedestrians are vulnerable as they are not protected by a vehicle or other protective gear. Drivers must remember to watch out for pedestrians, and pedestrians must remain aware of their surroundings.

On May 27, the Boston Police Department received information about a motor-vehicle accident involving pedestrian injury at approximately 5:00 p.m. Officer Connor Murphy was dispatched to the scene at 85 Southampton Street, and other emergency personnel arrived shortly afterwards.

First responders found one victim was suffering from injuries, so they administered medical care at the scene. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, but their return is still being determined. Statements were taken from those involved in the incident. This incident is still under investigation.

Pedestrian Accidents and Injuries

Pedestrian accidents can be a very serious matter. These accidents can cause catastrophic injuries and can sometimes be deadly. Negligent driving can lead to these accidents, and it is essential for all people on roads to follow traffic laws and remain attentive to prevent accidents. The consequences of reckless driving can be quite steep.

As concerned members of our community, we use the roads here every day, and we want our roads to be safe for all who are on them. As such, we at the Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers strongly urge all drivers to remain aware and cautious at all times. However, we are aware that accidents can happen to even the safest drivers, and we are also committed to helping victims receive the help they need to recover.
