5 Employees Sent to Hospital After Medway Hazmat Scare

In Medway on Saturday, five employees had to be sent to the hospital as a precaution. This happened after a hazardous chemical scare.

Fire officials say that the workers might have been exposed when two chemicals were mixed and created a vapor released. Weather is reportedly a factor.

Crews responded to the chemical spill at MicroGroup at around 2 in the afternoon.

One of the chemicals was mislabeled with lead to it being mixed with a chemical it shouldn’t have been.

Five people had to be taken to the hospital. They are expected to be fine.
