6 Injured in MBTA Related Crash

A head-on collision in Saugus that involved an MBTA bus was captured on surveillance tapes.

Six people suffered injuries because of this incident.

The accident occurred at around 4 in the afternoon on Sunday. An SUV that was being driven by a 37-year-old woman allegedly hit a parked car and then veered into the opposite lane and hit the MBTA bus head-on.

There were four people on the bus at the time of the incident. The four passengers and the bus driver had to be taken to a local hospital. The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital.

Authorities said the injuries to the people on the bus were minor. The SUV driver suffered serious injuries.

This crash is still being investigated.
