Hit-and-Run Accident on Hooper Street

Hit-and-run drivers are acting especially recklessly when they flee the scene of an accident. They often leave victims behind to suffer, and these incidents can be particularly hard for victims to deal with. When these accidents happen, the hit-and-run driver is acting recklessly as well as criminally.

On June 1, the Worcester Police Department responded to a call they received about a hit-and-run accident. The incident was reported at approximately 12:00 p.m., and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene quickly. The accident occurred on the 1 block of Hooper Street.

Upon arrival at the accident, emergency personnel found at least one person had suffered from injuries because of the accident, and medical care was administered to this individual. One of the drivers involved had fled the scene, and statements were taken from those who remained. The extent of their injuries is still under review, and police are still investigating the accident.

Accidents and Injuries

Hit-and-run accidents can be extremely serious as they can leave victims behind to not get the medical care they need. Fleeing the scene is cruel and also a criminal offense. When these accidents happen, victims have the right to recover their losses and seek assistance for their injuries so they can focus on healing.

We at the Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers often see the devastating results of car accidents in the cases we help with. We strongly urge all drivers to remain attentive when driving and do their best to prevent accidents. We are also aware that an accident can happen to even the most attentive drivers, and, when victims are injured, we are also here to help them receive the assistance they need to heal.
