A Springfield woman lost her home after a kitchen fire that happened on Parker Street. This incident occurred early on Wednesday morning.

Springfield fire officials responded to the fire at around 6 in the morning.

They found a second-floor kitchen fire that spread through the second floor of the home.

The woman, who has not been identified, is being helped by the Red Cross.
